Looking to get a 7" tablet and really considering this device now due to the neat compact form factor. Second choice is the Asus memopad 7
Primary usage is just for daily internet surfing and watching videos

Is it still a good buy now(1+ year product), probably looking for a used set

Do you know what and how's the latest available stock MY firmware? Performance-wise, lags?

I'm not into the flashing stuff. Just wanna use it as it is.
I'm use to iOS's smooth interface btw. Just that there's no JB these days so theres way too many limitations.
