I had previously unsuccessfully installed CWM recovery. AND I believe my stock recovery files are now changed as I am unable to flash any of the firmwares. The phone just boot into hw splash logo. Switching off n restart I can restart phone.  Can some of you used flashify to backup stock recovery  n email to me the file. I forgot to backup before flashing the cwm. You can find this file in android/data/ com.goober.flashify/files/flashify backup/recovery
Many thanks to such help

I was so afraid to use fastboot bacause I tried 2 years ago with no success! Your advice "In platform-tools folder 'with your mouse, do' right click 'while holding down the 'Shift ' button, then select ' Open a command window here . "
GREAT ADVICE because no more path problem notworthy.gif

Good morning
Back to you, did you manage to install Chinese CWM recovery at least?
Joytest seems to be the only one I know so far...who did it. Maybe the only reason is because he installed it with Flashify but when he was running 4.22 rom.
Any idea? and if you did succeed from B102 rom, please can you explain me step by step rclxms.gif
By the way, which rom are you running today?
Kindly yours from an old man notworthy.gif

Good evening,
With rootexplorer,I can modify easily the properties of any files inside my internal X1, but I have been trying to get a file only readable on my Extsdcard. I can't do it because "you don't have the autorisations to modify on extsdcard.
Any ideas folks?
Think you very much
Kindly yours from an old man

Before running nextapp sdfix one must first edit the system r/w so that changes can be made. If not this app will fail to run. The edit of this system is in post#4
You would need busybox fully installed first n reboot phone than only edit the system r/w . If not you will see chattr command missing when you try to key in the second command line

When I lounch sdfix, it says that work as been done. Xposed installer is fully fonctional, so does titaniumbackup stored on my extsdcard. Busybox fully installed, chattr command OK. Tomtom and Sygic are both installed in my internal memory and the cards, 12gb, installed and running from Extsdcard....
I need one file, stored in one of sygic's folder in extsdcard to be only readable.
SO, I can access and modify any files and folders, but can't, so far, get one protected from any modification.
DiD someone try already to protect a file stored in it's extsdcard?
Any more suggestions?
Kindly yours from an old man

Yeah all...succeeded in getting CWM for 4.4.2 to work !!!!

Here is the link to the CWM on my Google Drive.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8-peidjMw...iew?usp=sharing

Let me know if the link doesn't work.

Flash it with Flashify.

This very time, everything rocks!
Installed and flash with Flashify, reboot and did a full recovery on my ext_sdcard (/storage/sdcard1)
Even the translation in English is partially added to the Chinese one.
Think you Sir
