You can get accessories from garage sales or lelong.com. Not much choices than in Sept but I believe should have more choices now. You need to hunt for accessories in LYP.

Sorry no idea on Z3 as had no experience using it
Z3 is only 5.2 inch display vs 7 inch of X1. Both are different categories
The X1 will definitely meet your needs provided you can accept its 7 inch bigger display

X1 is a phablet while Z3 tablet is a full fledged tablet. Some X1 users complain why X1 has no tablet mode but forgot it was never meant to be a tablet
You need to view both yourself to decide
I am fine using the X1 as a mini tablet for movies, reading, youtube, magazine etc

The phone is still selling in all Huawei outlets. Or you can try other 3rd party sellers

This tablet good for great for reading , battery life excellent , calling not sure but better get handsfree it would be a challenge holding this device when calling for a long hour.Under good lighting camera is good on low light like indoor not so great.Smoothness is good unless you come from Nexus @ Apple products.

Z3 Compact Tablet would win hands down on spec alone.Front facing speaker. Waterproof and Android upgrade. Huawei kinda just leave their devices software behind.

rm1099 only is it expensive?

If you are buying a new one of course, X2 will be a better choice as the price is not much more and you get an upgraded faster smoother experience.

I'm using X1 and no regrets whatsoever, only thing I find it is not so smooth compared to more powerful Snapdragon phones like Htc One M8, LG G3 and the newer phones.

You can even use it as a ln all in one phone but  I find it a bit silly holding a big chunk of slab when I answer calls, so I use it mostly as a travel phone and gaming/internet/movie device.

In Malaysia, the model is 7D-501L, the International model. Check your model number.

The model in China is 7D-503L.

Seriously all the updated firmwares I had tested on the X1 and other HW phones ( last was Mate7) has no significant differences at all... sometimes I wonder what was changed ??
Why would you want to hide the navigation bar ?? The display size is big enough. It is a great aid ! I cannot remember whether there was even such a feature in the phablet
