Just make sure you don't get Mifare type NFC, Mi3 can't write data on those.

That one is NTAG203? or other type?
Memory size?

I tried with several NFC, so far only Mifare can't write although the memory size is very big

Been using Mi3 for several hours now...encounter the screen went black out after making call, solved by googling the issue in Miui forum...

Now, one q that i cant find the answer, unlike S3 or Q10...i only need to swipe the screen to activate the phone, whereas with Mi3, i need to push the power button every time to activate the screen, then only i can swipe..is it like that?
*
yes, u can have a solution for this. buy a flip case(no transparent type on the top left part where proximity locate), then install gravity screen, turn on screen via proximity, then u can have same function as your old S3... brows.gif

Sure S3 only swipe can wake up ar !!! My parent is using S3 and I'm the one configuring it for her. Have to press either the power or the home button to wake up. Even S4 need to press those button to wake up if screen goes black, swiping by itself won't activate anything.
*
i also wonder have this function on S3? anyone can confirm? hmm.gif

If without the casing? how?
*
still can use without flip case, turn the screen on with "proximity", when phone put in pocket, it will auto off screen and lock, when take out from pocket, it will turn on screen to lock screen...

sometime timeout, the screen will turn off by itself. so how to turn on the screen?

put it into pocket , then take it out?

NO NEED SO TROUBLE!!! brows.gif

just swipe you hand on the proximity, from left to right or rght to left(similiar to air gesture), when the proximity detect something move on it, it will on screen.. sound cool right? brows.gif

install gravity screen...

Bukan that feature will eat some of your battery life?  icon_question.gif
*
if compare to eat battery, screen take at least 50% of your battery, this features take around 3~5% battery only. turn your screen brightness to 20%, will save a lot of battery juice... brows.gif

no worry on battery usage at all... brows.gif

icic, based on the feedback in the net, apps that have same feature hmm.gif

"Actually works, with some disadvantages The app doesn't put on any false labels; it does exactly what it promised it would. But there's a catch: it drains a lot of battery life. I've used the app for a day and it was using 17% of my battery life."
*
try first la, it won't hurt if it really use a lot battery, just uninstall it... brows.gif

ps: This apps not only have proximity fatures, it also have moving down, put on table, moving features, if you turn all features on, sure use a lot of battery, if just use proximity, i think won't use much battery...
