Did u guy buy a new charger with 3-pin or juz get a adaptor?

head over to lelong. there is a flip window case and also a Aixuan hard case.

honestly, both design look a bit childish but i'm getting the Aixuan until more seller with more choice come online.

unless 1+ is gonna sell phone directly to us in MY, we are not gonna be enjoying the price advantage. Xiaomi should be commended for engaging the market directly. A bit of a odd biz model but i am not complaining looking at the price they sell.

The only other flagship (and i mean those running Snapdragon... not MTK or Intel), is well over twice Xiaomi price. 1+1 looses its price advantage here due to importer. The same goes with the Nexus line. We are just not gonna enjoy the benefit unless the brand sell directly in the market.

i figure you can hold out until the price drop but by then you might move on to something new and the whole cycle starts again. 16GB Nexus 5 starts at RM1.5k. its now 9mths old and the price is hovering above RM1.1k.

let's hope so but pls la... not so fast. i juz got my 1+1. i wanna enjoy before i itch wanna get another.

i skip xiaomi cuz its freaking big for a 5 incher and CM really sway me. its was btw G3 and 1+1.

I read an article why these China brand is finding it hard to break into mainstream. one major grouse.... Chinese like to copy fruit company. Huawei P6/P7 ohysically look like a iPhone. Xiaomi UI look juz like iOS. My fren who move from iP3S to Mi3 ask me why Android look like iOS....!!! u ain't gonna b taken seriously if u continue to to operate as a follower.

Xiaomi and 1+ is now shocking the market with their price. i hope they can maintain. i dun mind the Xiaomi way of biz though i find it a bit of an odd ball but heck... their price make me wanna skip lunch to click on my mouse.

i so far notice sumthing weird. first time i plug my USB cable to charge from laptop, my 1+1 reset and went into a rest loop until i pull the cable out and let the phone restart.

next. i plug into main and the same thing happen. endless restarting until i pull the cable out.

i'll monitor further.

USB charging is slower cuz the output power rating is lower.

1+1 is not my daily driver yet. juz charged and sitting in box. i 2x tap to make sure its still working... once in a while.

Issue i encounter so far:
1. endless rebooting when i first charge via USB and socket.
2. Gallery crash everytime i enter edit mode.

BTW, anyway to shut the camera shutter sound. i m planning any upskirt photo but the shutter sound is annoying. wanna mute it.

Root cause: i suspect its Google apps/service i disabled. I disable apps that i dun use at all (to avoid the update notice). i disable Google Play Music, Play books, Play Newstand, Play Games & Google+. Gallery decide to stop working. I have enable all and Gallery is fine now. Next, super scientific deduction method to see which of the apps is the culprit.

p.s. apasal i feel like i am talking to myself here?

The Mafia in this case of Google+. When u hit edit, gallery call the photos app. When I disable G+, Photos also goes hence the error.

there is a seller at garage sales selling SP. I jus got mine. There is a seller on Lelong with case. flip or hard case. Look childish to me but its temp protection.

on Aliexpress you can find "original" OnePlus hard case in many color. I dunno how original are they but i am waiting for my shipment.

the last post says only tempered glass left.

if you check carefully, the box is opened. whoeva open to flash did not pull the string to open the box. the box was sealed back with glue. hence... the impression it was sealed.

the charger in the box is rated at 5V 2A. same as what you'll find for Samsung Note 2. Since most of us got the China set, the charger is the 2 pin charger. got get the Sammy 2A charger. 1+ charger look nice... simple but its not practical for our use here.

The lelong seller toprankproduct I doubt hv ready stock. The delivery time is 5-9 days. I'm still waiting for my case.

yeah... root alone dun wipe out anything. i remember when u flash, there is a step to delete everything.

also, google service has a lot of auto backup turn on by default. could be that after u flash and sign in with your google account, the restore take place?

I notice that when i sign in to my G account on my 1+1, some of the pic tat was auto saved to G+ was restored to my 1+1.

juz sharing my Aixuan case i juz received. bought from seller toprankproduct from lelong. nothing really special about the case. black and feels like the sandstone 64GB back case. This is temp until all my other case arrive from China.

the top and bottom is expose and i dun really fancy this kinda case. My Htc One is using sumthing similiar and i drop a few time, kena the exposed side.... calar and dent. I prefer 100% covered protection.

oh... btw, comes with 2 SP... those normal type... or wateva u call them.
