it depends, some traders maybe like to use RSI in 2 different timeframe to see clear trend. Other trader might use ichimoku or macd    For me every trader has their own style of trading

a tips how to trade during news time...use the pending order as your main setting for entry during news time...

- before news time, set buy limit and sell limit 10pips from the last price...Set ur Stop loss on both at 5-10 pips from the buy and sell limit u set just now. Dun set any TP

- during news time look where the move trend go...during this time if it reach either your sell and buy limit u set before the news u will earn profit on both way...when the news trend already show the real direction cut loss the entry that it dont go or wait for it to reach ur Stop Loss set and look at the other entry u set...here u just wait and depend to u how much of profit / pips u want to take...usually during news time u can earn more than 100pips...

I already try this and it always give me profit during news time...this is what we called in Malay (makan atas bawah masa news) u just need to set the buy/sell limit and the stop loss at the both entry...

Pending order is your main weapon during news time...

so many Sifu ,Tok Guru ,Founder and GrandMaster here at lowyat forum.i like to invest or speculate even but getting a little confused.

currency trading is an extremely high volatile and never ending game of predictions with extremely high risk of burning your accounts and monies. a friend once told me ,once entered positions bodies and balls will shake and swing.

i like to say ,only with a small  likelihood ,profits can still be achieved but make sure you can TAHAN the losses first.you may enjoy or disgust yourself with emotional ups and downs

Agreed in some way to what you said about trend trading although it sounded rather easy by looking at daily or multiple timeframe . by simply identifying a trend, the trader has noticed a bias that has shown itself in the marketplace. it is popular amongst traders and may hit a reasonable percentage of profits each time a position is taken, but am i right to say you still need to look to technical indicators to plot an entry and exit and is that not consider as making prediction.

trend trading i guess could be very time consuming.

Hello everyone. I m new to the Forex and i registered at FxAcademy to try a demo account. Details was given and the Fx company called me all the way frm UK. They told me tht they can attach me to a broker and he is going to teach me all the things i need to learn.

But before i get started, i must first deposit at least 1k usd into acc of my own. I pretend tht i didnt had money, so they say at least 250usd to let them show me n guide me the ways to read the market etc etc. they also mention tht if i suddenly decided im not interested in tradin, i can withdraw the money out immediately.

Is it trustable?

i want to ask an honest question...how fast is ur broker will transfer ur withdraw money to ur account and what is the min amount is require...please stated ur broker name...thank you...

mine at FXRANEX the fastest withdraw had been done is in 15 minutes and the slowest is half day...however our portion of withdraw is 3.2usd while deposit is 3.4usd...no min amount is require...u can withdraw as low as 0.10usd if u want...
