I have some questions hopefully some people here can help.
We have a drum set and digital piano and fender bass guitar. All players are at learning stage.
Lately I found out we could do something with our new iMac system (garage band) which we never use before. Is this a good way for starters?
We are also looking for new speaker systems to enhance the playback experience from our iMac. Any recommendations please?

budget is not more than 5k for speakers alone and another 2 k for amps. i like punch and atmospheric capabilities.

+1. better research for amp options. for 5k you already have a wide array of choices.

garageband does not care about the guitar brand bro.. sweat.gif

instead the interface or how u connect the guitar to garageband/mac is more important. but most interface is recognizable. smile.gif

i know connector suitability matter most but i prefer branded stuff.

lasts time i went to one musician shop in curve.

i heard a gorgeous sounding amp. sounded better than yamaha. cant remember the name but when he told me the price it was 6k.

they have closed shop now.

but even they told me speakers make the biggest difference.
