QUOTE(bpwx @ Nov 23 2006, 10:34 PM) What do you mean there wont be top16.................So there wont be extra spaces at the LYP qualifiers due to the canceled CC qualifiers after all??? It really depends on how many turn out on tomorrow's Prelim, nothing is confirm as of this moment. At the moment we do have 10 FIFA Qualifiers and 8 NFS Qualifiers from all the CC Prelims. Lets say there's only 8 turn up tomorrow, you wouldn't expect us to make 6 of them all qualifies for the grand final. QUOTE(jotaro @ Nov 23 2006, 06:34 PM) To Celgames Crew: The tournament will commences at 10am, I'm afraid there isn't much can be done to those who can't be there when their matches start, as we are really having very tight schedule especially on the BattleField 2 part.this is not for me; i know some of the players who have already qualified for FIFA06 in the grand final can't be there in the morning as they are working half day on saturday is it possible to push their matches back? But it is almost certain that the Last-16 for FIFA will be played in Double-Elimination format, Home&Away format. |

QUOTE(highwind @ Nov 24 2006, 01:08 AM) Just incase you all would want to repeat like what happened last year, which is group stage then double elimination, hopefully there's seedings so that the competition would be fairer. Anyway this is just my suggestion, I do hope that there's no dissapointing match during the finals. wasn't sure what happened last year but everyone who qualified from respective CC prelims this term were all winners by themselves and therefore there will not be any seedings or pre-fixed matches during the last-16.All the best to CELgames, I'll be there tomorrow morning. In fact, we are planning to do a Live-Draw on Saturday morning for all games, time to be confirmed, most probably gonna be at around 10am. all the best to all gamers who have qualified and for those who travelled all the way down to LYP for the final prelim, your support is much appreciated. |

QUOTE(moon* @ Nov 24 2006, 11:05 PM) ehm.. yea i spoke to my team abt it.. as I've said earlier, all of these players who will be participating in the Last-16 are winners by themselves from respective prelims.n it seems after discussion, we all had the idea where by.. tis fifa tournament have become more like a CLAN WAR? between winds n myfes. n we dont wan intend to see tis as a clan war. we wanna look at everyone as a sole player and play to win, play to enjoy the game. not tat i wanna pin point anyone.. but tis time seeing the tournament, was a little disappointed.. and kinda annoyed.. they are ppl who are "main bola" around man.. dribbling out with goal keepers.. keeper running into their own goals.. ahhh... wat is tis?? the scores are goin to like 12-12, 15-15.. tats really a waste of our time n other gamers time isnt it? so.. we kinda have decided.. to have a live draw will all the players @ LYP 9.30am I understand that you might not want to play with your clan mates so early, but one stage or another, you guys will be meeting each other anyway. This is a solo tournament, where each of the 16 of you fight to be the best in this tournament. That is also the main reason why we wanted to do a live-draw. I see all 16 players as sole individual regardless of their clans, and the tournament is already reaching the final stage of the tournament, the knockout stage. Lets just proved yourself among the community and among your team. |

BF2 was quite exciting today
Tmr, FIFA and NFS will resume at 10am sharp, right till the final game, then BF2 will takes over, probably about 12noon, all the way till the FINAL game. For the final game, NFS will starts 1st (if there's any), followed by the FIFA06 Final then the BF2 Final game. Prize Giving Ceremony comes right after all the matches finished. Good luck to everyone who will be playing tomorrow! And we appreciated the support shown by all CELGames 06 participants throughout the course of 2 months! Cya tmr! QUOTE(bpwx @ Nov 27 2006, 02:03 PM) Nope, I didn't mean the delay part of the tournament. That was already expected, as we are MALAYSIANS!!! I meant was the PC lag. Yea I think maybe next time all players should put 640x480 and Low! Like ME!!! even if you had do so the result would have been the same. any solutions possible have already been countlessly tested days before the tournament starts and nothing seems to help.we would like to have everything running perfectly fine too on the tournament, but just as highwind said, don't expect everything to be in perfect condition. going into a tournament is always about adaptability to the environment and unforeseen situation that you would never expect playing at home on your own PC. Dealing these problems with subdued mentality is the key to success in a tournament. This post has been edited by siewkeat: Nov 27 2006, 03:23 PM |
