Did anyone realize that the moto 360 seems to have no speaker. Forget about call, even notification also won't have sound alert. U have to depend on the visual and vibration to alert you. Means no watch alarm...?

QUOTE(uk15029 @ Sep 5 2014, 04:47 PM)
Any android wear smartwatches has speaker?

thanks
*
No Android Wear watch ever have speaker, including Samsung Gear Live.

any user got their unit yet? Say...  if on light usage(only whatsapp, call and hangout notification without using GoogleNow and location services) possible to go 2days without charging?
*
Honestly except Pebble and Sony SW2, other smartwatches are kinda stretch to get even full 2 days (48 hours) battery life with notifications and other works.

Watch does have tax. It may be the matter of how they deal with custom
*
I'm sorry bro but watch dont have tax, that's why i manage to order lg g watch and pebble before without being taxed.

You can refer to Royal Malaysia Custom's page for non dutieable item, including watch.

We're talking abt smartwatches, bro sweat.gif All electronics are taxable, if I'm not mistaken. And here's one of the proofs
But I do think it's a matter of luck and how courier deal with custom. Wrist watches and smartwatches are hard to be distinguished, and they literally look the same
*
Basically smartwatch is a whole new category, even still nowadays there are no taxes for electronic items like phone and computer as u can refer on that malaysia custom website since the start of MSC. But of course SIRIM is different matter than tax, guess im lucky i never have to deal with sirim before.

Anywho lets all wait and hope for our moto360 to arrive here safely without hassle and we can do TT to share knowhow and stuffs rclxms.gif

Eh cannot be leh, its either the band itself comes with the middle "gap" notch, or you scrap off the center plastic piece and install the band like normal watch.

Unless for this band, you remove the first link, then only install from the 2nd link.
*
I think this band is same as the expensive super engineer metal band, where the whole first section nice ngam2 fit the filling inside the watch, so no cracking of the backplate will occur.

No offence k bro... Just my personal opinion... I think the screen is a lil too bright looking at side angle... what about front face?
*
Yup you are right, this is default brightness, which is 4. I toned down the brightness a bit which is a bit better.

which means the LG G watch R is better?? cry.gif

Unfortunately for me yeah, but beauty is on the eye of beholder. Some might prefer thin bezel of Moto 360, which I don't really mind actually. But yeah on some part Moto 360 is more beautiful than LG G Watch R.

Seriously in love with this watch... But does it able to sync with IOS? Sound silly but anyone can let me know it will,,,,, I hope.
*
Unfortunately non of these Android Wear wearables are compatible with iOS for now. Let's hope Google can emulate Microsoft step (through Microsoft Band) in supporting as many platform as possible in future.
