I think due to the nature of Google Now, it is hard to see that happening anytime in the near future. Android Wear depends too much on Google Now, and the integration of other apps. Apple being so controlling about the apps on the appstore, it will take too long to implement it imo.

Btw, my full day Battery Life report as below:

15 hours: 10:30am to 1:30am = 13% Ambient Off. Many notifications, emails, playing around with watchfaces, some Google Searches, but mostly use Motorola Stock Face.

Last time when I'm on Moto360 I managed to achieve around 20-10% of battery life after using it from 8.30am till 10.30am with Ambiance Mode on. lots of notification but not so much on playing it around. The battery is getting better from time to time, Motorola ppl really know how to fully utilize the omap chip inside.

After Android Wear (the main app) updated on Google Play Store, it will automatically reboot the connected watch.

CODE
What's New

Support for the latest update to Android Wear, featuring:

- Offline music playback from your watch via Bluetooth headphones
- More control over the top card preview: push it down to view the entire watch face briefly, or simply turn it off
- Battery saver mode - turns off the watch screen when the battery is low to save power
- Bug fixes
- This update may restart your paired Android Wear device

Another thing to note, sometimes even the time can be not-accurate if NOT paired to phone. Basically the watch will communicate with the phone to keep the time accurate.

Agree, when the watch shut down due to battery running out, it will display last known time once it restart back until it paired back with phone then it will get correct time.
