Some have friends/relatives to help them ship the orders home while some use shopping services to buy from Lego.

If you go back a few posts you can see bro yhlee12 mentioned he uses HopShopGo's shopping service to buy his Lego from Lego S@H.

Here is the link: HopShopGo

There are many other services like this, not only limited to HopShopGo but I have used their services (and a few others) before for non-Lego related  purchases and am pretty happy with their service and shipping rates.

In other news... This year's Winter set!!! drool.gif  drool.gif  drool.gif

Not a bad outing to mighty utan.. my first visit looted 670 parts @ 500gm = rm100.  Thats <15 sen per part  biggrin.gif

seriously its hard to dig for needed parts. if only they separated the parts into JUST 2 or 3 category ...... my life would be much easier.

the small parts are buried underneath the bigger ones.
*
at first i was using my hand to korek to find the small pieces..
its a hurting process indeed! hahah

then after that, no more hands! use the shovel! hahaha

10242 is a great set.. very enjoy building this set, 95% smooth surface thumbup.gif

if really wanna complaint, the steering is too near to the driver seat, and there is a gap on the door with the car body.. other than that it's a very solid and awesome build thumbup.gif

Lego S@H is sneaky.

They said UCS Tumbler is on backorder estimated shipping Sept 11, but I simply put in an order for a buyer and it's shipping today already.

Anyone making the long drive down, braving the causeway, paying expensive fuel, to be among the first to get their hands on these?

Meanwhile, I'll have to be content in Germany with leftovers from the promotion you lot had 2 years ago.  doh.gif

I just loved the pricepoint of these cars ($24.99,info from eurobrick.com).  Looks like they wont burn a hole in my wallet.

The parts offered from sleek lego cars is gonna be useful for my MOC.
*
the set is useful to me so that i dont buy the retired one..yah!

I don't think anyone shared this yet. But if it's true, another modular in my list!

http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-creator-de...d-for-jan-2015/

I'm thinking it could be like Sherlock Holmes 221B Baker Street building. If that's the case, maybe no need to MOC a Gotham PD from the Grand Emporium but maybe from this rumored set!

detective agency ha?

sounds like a modular police hq tongue.gif

0:52 Drive: PF L motor driving the rear tire directly, via a small wheel that touches its surface

1:01 Steering: PF M motor turning the front wheel with a small linear actuator.

hmm.gif  This is an interesting drive and steering mechanism, rather than using servo as on/off

Coming from Technic perspective  laugh.gif  it's Sariel !!!

i wish he produce instructions..
most of his works are awesomeness!!!
