Does the local unit comes with nfc?
From the spec sheet some website say they do and some don't have. Which one is correct?
*
mine doesn't have.

from huawei's rom website, you can see lots of code variants for Honor 6..

Darn.. I didn't know that..

Still can't root the phone.

Everytime I enter the "Product ID" code, it said please enter the correct one..

Followed Honor 6 India since theirs is the same model as ours.

Anyone already managed to root?

I am facing same issue as you now.
*
Phewh..

Ok finally figured it out..

when you replace the "Huawei C8812" -> "Huawei H60-L04", leave out the Huawei word.
So it'll be "H60-L04" only..

Such simple solution, thank you google

Just curious whats the different between china rom with the one we getting from malaysia?

My friend is going to china next month and i was thinking of asking him to help me get one, wondering whats the difference...
*
From what I read in XDA, ours is single sim version (same as in India) while china mostly is dual sim & TD LTE.
Have to check which model your friend can get.

Not sure if can really flash to Malaysian ROM yet as even from Huawei's website, no official ROMs available yet for L04.

You bought yours from VMall or AP dealers?

Well.. If it's BMall aka Malaysian version, if anything do go wrong (like bricked), do take note there's no recovery img yet for L04

Ok di phone got 4G liao. I think Digi tech team did something.

Btw I just notice a feature I really like on Honor 6 ROM.

Is the Phone Manager app. Press once to scan, press again to clean. It even clean up temp files and any baggage that the phone has due to surfing, opening apps etc. Really love this. Makes my phone really fast again each time after using it! thumbup.gif

other Android phones/ ROMs got this feature? Does MIUI ROM has this?
*
Yup, for MIUI they have it also. Similar functions as well, so not sure who copy who but it's nice that it's centralized

Xiaomi is powered by CleanMaster which you can find on PlayStore. Not sure for Huawei is homebrew one or by other developer like Xiaomi.
*
I think I saw somewhere it was DU something

QUOTE(tcmean @ Oct 23 2014, 06:00 PM)
What I mean is does unlocking the bootloader would result in a full wipe for Huawei? For Nexus, unlocking the bootloader will force a full wipe.
*
Oh..

Well, for me nope, everything is the same even after root, apps still there, so far no apps crashed *touchwood* laugh.gif

Guys do u on Cat6 LTE under 'mobile network'  settings?  I'm trying it now seems to impact LTE speed.. It's actually faster when connected to 4G network. However there's a warning saying it might destabilize the data connection if your network provider does not support it. So far I switch on already no issues? Is it safe to leave it on? Guess it will impact battery life when there's 4g? Try to find Internet no where says about this Cat6 setting thing.. Guess we're really the world's first having this feature..  @@

Faster in a sense that speed test has higher average speed and stability...
*
I haven't try yet, waiting for my new simcard to arrive.

So what's the max speed you get with CAT6?

Just bought the IOX prepaid just to test out Celcom's LTE (now using Digi with Mi3).

Goodness, no LTE here at all and the H+ is fluctuating 3-4MBps as in speedtest.net, compared to my Digi, H+ can get at least 8-10MBps..

Not sure if it's the phone settings problematic or line here is just bad.

Darn..

Yes. Malaysia are still using Cat.3 Tech. Only Singapore have Cat.4 and as well Cat.6. That is why LTE-A Samsung Galaxy S5 are selling there.

Well, ain't this awkward.

Kind made the selling point for boasting Cat6 speed moot doesn't it?
