Hello..very quick one...has no big progress today..waiting for parcel from poslaju and gdex..but none appear..

The 24pin cable finish still with the tagging..I thick it is much tidier than the previous one..



Remove the tagging..



Both side panel finish sanding and ready to be painted..



I choose flat black and this is the paint that I used..very easy to use and quick dry too..



Hope tomorrow I'll receive all the parcel..

Huhu..as what I expected..the parcel came in today..yeah its from APES...but not really 'came in' need to RV with GDex guys outside..maybe because Sepangar Naval Base is quite far from town..

This is what I've been waiting for...

Look so fragile the tube..don't what to do first.. I'll update the list of the fittings on my #1 post of this thread..

But I guess this will be the first part of the fittings..some of my required fittings APES doesn't have stock for it..so I'll try to order it somewhere else..but my priority is to get it locally first..

Hello guys..here are some updates for my build..

I start the fitting installation..but then I realized that the radiator is too thick and doesn't provide me clearance to install the multilink C47 fittings to the GPU.. the singularity client build 9 used the gtx 770 reference card hence it much smaller..So I need to replace the radiator with the BlackIce GTS 240..

Remove the BlackIce GTX 240..



I paint the top panel flat black..







Since the top panel itself are 3mm thick + fan 25mm thick..the use of 30mm screw doesn't bite well on the radiator..I change it to 40mm screw..but seem to be too long..need to cut a bit..



Put the fan grill underneath the radiator to protect it fins...



Install these daughter-board to the motherboard..

Strip down the case..paint it to flat black..





Here are the top panel picture that need to lifted around 10mm to make the radiator fitting align with the GPU inlet fitting..



Still not align after top panel lifted..but i think it is acceptable to install the acrylic tube..



The first tube insert..like hell to install it due to clearance is too small..



As for the rest of the fitting already installed..but I still need to buy some extender to make the tube align with each multilink connector..mind the GTX 240 radiator..just to show the fitting location only..will be replaced by the GTS 240..

Hello..just small progress..these are somethings that I made for the past few days..

I try to make the reservoir bracket out of acrylic sheet..haha





Then after sanding it..move on to paint it matte black..



What look like it will fit the radiator but it is not...I miscalculate the screw gap between the radiator.. And I broke it after try to push it to fit the holes..

So only one bracket survive and useable..so any one out there who have this bracket and would like sell it just PM me..



After a lot of frustration..yesterday my wife came from outstation at Miitary Hospital @ Wangsa Maju area..and brought me an important package fro abidgreen93..thanks bro..





There goes half of my salary this month..this upcoming Hari Raya..huhhhh I ask abidgreen93 not to tell my wife the price..or else I'll be dead..hahaha



So I proceed with the installation using the precut tube from abidgreen93..I found out that this tube is a a lot easier to be inserted to the Cristal Link C47 fittings..



Oh yea..that picture I still use the GTX radiator..I currently waiting for the GTS radiator from niclasteoh..Also install the EK X-RES 140 pump top + reservoir..



....that's all guys..maybe I try my best to complete this after Hari Raya holiday..hope by then all the parts I ordered has arrived..

Hi guys..this may be the last update because I'll be going for Hari Raya Holiday starting today..I hope the project will be completed after Hari Raya..I'll be returning on 9th Aug..

This is what came in yesterday..I order 2 units Swiftech 8 Way PWM distributor from GBros..as a replacement what been used in Build 9 of Singularity..all the fan will be hook up to this PCB..



Next I continue the loop from the CPU waterblock to the upper radiator and use this Bitspower Flow Sensor (BP-FS-CLBKSL)..don't know where to connect the flow sensor wire..



After that..I connect the final tube using Bitspower BP-WTP-C68 Silver Shining IG1/4" Multi-Link Adapter..there goes the complete loop..



Even though the loop is complete..when looking at the space between the reservoir and motherboard make me worry..how I'm gonna secure all the cable in such limited space..

I hope the radiator will be available soon..maybe I'll try using slimmer fan for the front radiator..lets think about it after Raya..must eat lemang first..hahaha

Hello..hmmm still in raya mode...

here are some updates on this project..

I received a parcel from niclasteoh containing the BlackIce GTS 240 radiator and 2 units of Lamptron Valdal Momentary switches (red dot / ring)..



So I disassemble the BlackIce GTX 240 radiator and transfer the reservoir to the new radiator..you can see the different in thickness..







Then, this morning I notice the front panel that I sent for laser cutting has arrived on my desk..I should done it manually like singularity but hehe too lazy..



The color is not darker than I thought it would be..but it is still acceptable..





All the parts are here..I guess I'll start the most challenging part of this project..to assemble all the cable and fix the loop together..

Hi guys..sorry kind of busy for the pass few days..

I would like to post some updates..since the front panel is complete. I proceed to drill 4 x 6mm hole at the edge of the case..





Test the front panel..it fit but please notice that all the 4 corner of it need to be trim rounded a bit to give way for the case feet and top handle..



Next I'm going to sleeve the front panel fans and the vandal switches that I received earlier..Actually I would like to use the same fan as the top panel..but no stock at APES..anyone have extra can PM me..

Alternatively I use my extra Corsair SP 120 PWM fans..



This is the vandal switches and the cable extender that came with the MAXIMUS IMPACT VI..



Haha..here are the final outcome..the work in between no need to mention..like hell..



Finally I got a suitable place to mount the HDD and SSD..I guess..

Already been a week since last I updated this project..

So here are some of the progress of it.. Don't have tool to make holes for the switches..

I drill few small holes to make way for the switches..then I file it until it fit the switches..







Done the upper is power and lower is reset..

I also do some sleeving to the cable for molex connector..first time successfully made the full molex cable sleeving..hahaha



The molex is dedicated for the pump and for LED also in the future..



will make cable management later..



The lower part..below the pump is too crowded and I dont have any idea how to cover this as what I plan to do..



So time to fill the loop.....

This is the EK coolant that I bought from lingloong..I bought 2 bottles..1 UV green and the other one UV Blue..I would like to have red but no stock that time..



So need to add some mayhems deep red dye..

Hi guys..

The loop already filled..and the pump running perfectly fine using my 12V DC adapter..but when connect everything..the PC won't turn on...

So I decided to give it a try using the original cable first..I suspect that my wiring skill haven't improve at all since the last build..damnnn...



Using the original cable the system up and running fine..So I tested 1 by 1 my custom cable..



These are the culprit..other than these cables all working great..first cable that failed is EPS cable..8 pin and 6 pin PCI-E cables..feel stupid sometime..



Thanks for the help of this PSU tester..save me a burned PSU..

Hello..it has been more than a month since I last update this post..quite busy because I involved in organizing the 14th Asia Pacific Submarine Conference here in Kota Kinabalu..

Ok..here are some updates on this project..some finding and lesson learn also I guess..

First of all..I already try to search online the correct PSU cable pinout for my AX760..but useless when nothing found online..so I decided to compare the pinout with my SilverStone Strider Gold..then I learn that all PSU has a different pin out toward the PSU and the same pin out toward the output (motherboard)..stupidly I has wired all the custom cable I made same as the Strider Gold except for the 24 pin cable..

SATA power cable (right is Strider Gold and left is AX760)..


MOLEX power cable (right is Strider Gold and left is AX760)..


8 pin PCI-e cable (right is Strider Gold and left is AX760)..


See the different..I thought it is a standard layout..but it is different..those pictures show the pinout toward the PSU end..

No wonder my PC won't start..luckily not another burning PSU..so as quick solution I order these from khfoong81..hand it over to the expert,,LOL..
1 x 24pin PSU cable 15cm sleeveless
1 x 8pin EPS cable 15cm sleeveless
1 x 6pin PCI-e cable 10cm sleeveless
1 x 8pin PCI-e cable 15cm sleeveless
4 x PWM extender 20cm black sleeve



So the system is now working after slight changes in my MOLEX and SATA power cable pinout (just copy the same pinout as AX760)

I also made a top fan replacement..since the NoisBlocker is too hard to get..I replace both top fan to Corsair SP120 PWM..

hi..

continue my update..after all the cables working great..I plan to drain the system to change the coolant..before I used the EK coolant UV green add with mayhems deep red dye..hope to see it red in colour...but....

here is what it like when expose to sunlight...greennnnn...if in dark room it is red..I guess the effect from the UV itself..





prepare to drain..even though I installed the drain valve in the loop, I haven't drill a hole at the bottom of the casing..so need to attach my extra tube..



As for replacement I use the XSPC Blood Red Coolant..thanks GBros..



Fill the loop with more than half of bottle coolant..



and now it is red..yes bloody red mate..



And finally a few touch on lighting using 2 x SilverStone LED Strip White..



Up and running...but not finish yet.. I think you all knew what still missing..hehehe stay tune..
