The cable is in the box that your phone encased in. Take out the whole paper box out from the case, its enclose INSIDE one of the side.

Logically it works like that but then again if thats the case, those that already got into the queue need not CHECKOUT quickly?
Because its only confirmed after checkout no?
I believe during the previous sale i did managed to get queue but it hanged, then after awhile i directly open the link and able to see 1 Mi3 in my cart and i successfully checkout around 12.45PM.
Although i cant choose bundle sad.gif
*
Exact same thing happened to me last week. Found item in cart 15 minutes later....without bundle.

QUOTE(Veren @ Jun 24 2014, 02:57 PM)
Of coz they dunno what is mini sim as mini sim u mention is actually to be called "Micro Sim"(which is using on current HTC One, Samsung S5, Sony Z2 and previous Iphone 4/4S. the micro sim u tot is actually called "Nano Sim" which is currently only use on iphone 5/5S.

And for Mi3, in the phone it provide standard sim tray only. But xiaomi know that nowadays many ppl use "Micro Sim" already so they free us a Micro Sim tray as well. so you wont have any problem on fitting your Sim card into Mi3. For those using "Nano Sim" card like me then we have to buy Nano Sim to Micro Sim adapter which available in Garage Sales with price of RM8 only.
*
Your first paragraph seems like contradicting with your 2nd paragraph.

Your 2nd paragraph is correct.

Your 1st paragraph mentioning mini sim is called micro sim and microsim is call nano sim is extremely confusing.

Mini sim is STANDARD sim. Micro is called micro throughout and was never referred to as mini in any case unless someone confused them.

Nano is never called micro in any case.

So when they don't understand what is mini, just said standard sim as used in prepaid card sim size.

Please please...
i tot we all discuss this.

Don't put empty micro sim adapter into the phone.

You'll be sorry.

Now your phone is damage. Can say bye bye to your phone. Just bring to service center.
*
Its the original sim tray. Now that is scaring me as well coz I might be switching sim once in a while for this phone using the standard mini sim. If original sim tray also can get stuck, there is a problem there..

I tested a theory, I put random address when bought MI3 yesterday.

But in Paypal window, I choose my office address (already registered in profile)

So when i checked at My Order page, the delivery is following the one in Paypal
laugh.gif
*
Have been doing that since last week sales. You can choose from multiple addresses in Paypal account.

Thus to save time, key in address properly in Paypal, then during Xiaomi sale, just hantam some rubbish inside the address and phone column very quickly, then when pay using paypal, select full address from paypal straight into it.

I forgot to change the phone no. in Paypal. The old number overwrite my mobile number in my purchase yesterday. CS cannot change phone number, thus live with it unless package not delivered.

I thought Beat is well-known overpriced crap? hmm.gif
*
It is. And a fruit company bought that overpriced thingy becoz of its overpriced name...

So beat really does it. Now I wonder if its real Piston really can match a standard RM300-400 IE....if that's for real, I'm truly tempted to buy it, since the most expensive I have now is RM199 sony thingy.

Cannot afford the higher range model that I'm looking at..

My god today when I log into XiaoMi website to check my order and it show there payment error and its have been charged into my credit card anyone face this issue ??
*
Go to online Chat Support thru their website. It might not be necessary its payment issue.

The last time I kena, it's becoz my input name is too long (include my company name). Thru online chat support, they identify the error, get my actual full name (w/ company name) and fixed the issue. Detected payment error in afternoon abt 1pm, immediate chat and fixed, by late evening, progress to processing.

Do note that they might delay your shipping out by one day becoz of the error fixing time frame. Processing successfully at 1pm, send out next day. Got error, fixed, late evening only process. Then send out the day after tomorrow (2 days).

That's my experience.

why include company name in your name??? hmm.gif

afk send to other company have name same with you? hmm.gif
*
Address take cukup put the very long company name. So add into name with a bracket.

Now just put name only as it seems the delivery guy can differentiate which company to send to in the same floor.

My current order by UPS started in Hong Kong instead of Shenzen (FedEx).

Does that means they have warehouse in Hong Kong? If issue from HK, then use UPS? FedEx direct from Shenzen?

UPS really travel around abit, from HK, to Taiwan, Philippines then back to Shenzen to arrived in Sepang...from 26th to 27th...

There is a widget call Readme pre installed in the phone, teaches basic user guide & faq.

*#*#64663#*#* to test the phone.

Just charge till full, modern battery doesn't require 8 hr charge like 90s Nokia era, try not to use the phone till fully drained as this phone come with battery life protection, if wait till fully drained it will require longer time to charge, the phone will slow down charging speed when it reaches 95% to prolonged battery life, when it reached 99% it will take long time to reach 100%.

If u want fast charging u can either use 2a charger or PB, original charger 1a type so a bit slow on charging.

Don't ever charge overnight as it will shortened battery life, as charger will charge the phone once the battery level dropped, so overnight might be many cycle charging, since battery r limited to certain amount of charging cycle, by charging more battery life shortened.
Yes ! Does Good.
*
Actually battery charging cycle depends on technologies used.

What you mentioned is the old full cycle based per change charging procedure. Every time charge is 1 cycle regardless of charge %.

Most new charging technologies are currently intelligent enuf to combine multiple charging to a full cycle. That means, when we charge 50% on day 1 and another 50% on day 2, it will only be considered 1 cycle charging. That means when we do overnight charging, it won't go like 100 full cycle becoz it will charge from 99% to 100% everytime. If like that, our battery will be dead in a couple of months liao.

btw. Lithium Ion battery got a fixed life the moment it leaves the factory. Use or not use, full charge or not, it will gradually erode within a specific time and die out anyway.

btw. I always leave my phones on overnight charging. My S2 is still working fine after 3 years tho the battery life is much shorter now. By 3 years, even if we take care of it like no overnight charging, it will still erode to this stage.

Learned  my lesson  those  day when  I uses Galaxy  W,  charge  overnight frequently,  the battery bloated  in 6 months,  later change to S3mini stop doing  that 1 year battery still OK.

Don't  forget  heat kill it battery,  if constantly  leave  it plug whole  night  may  heat up ur phone.
*
I have S2, S4, ipad, etc. All leave charging overnight. Once its fully charge, it will go into trickle charge. When charging to full, the phones will heat up. Once it's gone into trickle charge, the phone will be as cool as normal phone without charging and it will stays that way until we unplug.

My S2 is 3-4 years, S4, 1 year, ipad 1 year, etc....all overnight charging with "original" charger (I don't use OEM, always buy original even for spares, to minimize risk of charger causing phone to explode case as happened to some (always turned out to be oem charger or battery as a cause). All batteries in excellent condition till now. Oh, I leave them on tile floor just in case (got air-cond room thus tile is cooling......just in case tongue.gif )

All of them were cool down after full charge even when plug in.

If an app is going kookoo inside and eats up the CPU and batt life way more than it can charge, then that's the cause for extreme heating all the way to the morning and probably might damage battery, etc. Both my phones have watchdog lite to detect CPU going above a certain threshold and buzz out loud when it happen, so I can know if it happen and reboot the phone or kill the related app. It can prevented extreme heating overnight.

Just charged MI3 overnight yesterday. This morning, it is not hot. Will try again overnight and monitor the heat to in morning check if its going to explode whistling.gif

I and my colleague bought at same time last Tuesday, side by side. I used Paypal, she used Credit Card directly. Mine will be delivered today (its out for delivery, but don't know UPS lar...don't know in delivery truck how many days).

Her's is still waiting for shipment in Shenzen or Hong Kong, no transport ID as well.

My UPS unit began tracking FROM Hong Kong while my previous MI3 purchased by Fedex comes directly from Shenzen.

*
Yeh....personally I would wait for any LTE version coz once you're used to LTE speed, its a bit difficult to goes back to 3G especially when both Klang area and my work area has full LTE support.

I bought MI3 for family members that does not have data plan and only used Wifi.

Hi Guys, what is Xiaomi's cable called? I'm trying to buy it from the stores.
*
If its USB cable that plug from phone to charger, you can use any good quality USB cables. I've been charging everything from Samsung S4 to Kindle Paperwhite 2 using my S4 charger with its USB cable.

If you want to make sure its original good quality wan, just asked for any branded phones USB cables/charger. I would personally go for S4/Note 2 2A charger and cable, peace of mind, since I used for 1 year for everything, no issue.
