But does the cable really makes a difference? I thought only the adapter is the one that determines the charge speed.
*
A lot of USB charging issue appears due to faulty USB cables. So getting a good USB cable would ensure long term smooth usage. I agree with Samsung original USB that comes with Note 2 or S4 charger, over 1 year of charging charging all sort of devices, no issue yet.

But the standard charger is 1A wor.
*
If I'm not wrong MI3 charging port is 1-1.2AMP, so 1AMP charger is sufficient but actually charge might vary and most likely charge at lesser than 1 amp.

However if you use 2 Amp charger, it can go max charger at 1.2amp or whatever. Still got extra juice to cover any fluctuation loss.

hmm.gif just found a bug. using mi3 stock video player. when using the speaker, can go up to max volume at 15. After i plug in my earphone, max onli can go up to 11 volume. doh.gif too soft to my liking.

guess I'll install mx player. laugh.gif
*
It might not be a bug, some player limits the max volume especially on iem or headphones to minimize risk of damaging hearing of users.

LTE is useless with limited data package. you will need more than 5GB a month. if you use torrent, gone in 60 seconds  cry.gif
*
Not really ler. You seems to relate increased data access speed to more download only.

For me, I can view groupon with its huge number of pictures at least twice as fast.

I can read UK dailymail (with pics and lots of news) without waiting a long time for it to download sufficiently.

It makes a big difference on waiting time for websites to load and reduced a lot accumulated site loading waiting time. No necessary increase download but to access info noticeable much faster than 3G.

Most ppl increased data access coz since it download much faster, thus finish reading faster and proceed to access more sites. If like me, I only access what I want or need, I can complete my task twice faster than 3G.

That is assuming LTE works in my area when I access sites.

LTE only klang valley right?
*
Mostly. Worked in KL and live in Klang....both site got LTE. So LTE phone is a must for casual web surfer like me coz once I'm used to that speed, going back to 3G is like switching car from audi back to proton, can jalan fine at decent speed but..... sweat.gif

True.
But does not apply for everybody because, last i checked, digi don't have much LTE coverage, none at my workplace, none at where i stay. that's why i opt for mi3, without LTE. Was thinking of another option which is an LTE phone, but dropped the idea after checking the coverage area. =(
*
I have MI3 for that purpose also... whistling.gif

I'm only responding to the saying the LTE is useless unless you have huge data plan. I'm just saying LTE speed is very useful when you have it even with only 1GB data plan brows.gif

its just the speed right ... i thinkso 3g also quite fast
*
Yep but on layman terms, I used to think S2 is very fast, the fastest there is but when put side by side with newer phones like S4, S5, MI3, it moves like turtle. That's how the feeling is. S2 is still very much working fine tho.

but what if i want to install app that needs lots of ram like hd games? Will it affect the performance?

if unused ram is wasted ram, then the more ram is use require more energy and drain battery faster... hmm.gif
*
Don't worry about ram until your games cannot even run becoz of lack of memory, then you worry abt it..

Also this is the first time I hear an argument linking Ram to Battery drain tho... biggrin.gif

Wanna ask about PB question.

I plugged 10k PB to computer via USB. It is like taking forever to charge it..

How long is yours?

Do you use other charger?
*
Frankly computer USB port charged using 0.5 amp only. That's half the speed of 1amp charger plugs and a quarter of 2 amp charger plugs. Go figure why it takes forever to charge 10K pb.

You can use USB charger plugs from most branded handphones, Samsung's 2amp note2/s4 charger, xiami 1amp charger, etc. Its all multi-device charger. I used my S4 2A charger to charge S4, MI3, Kindle, PB, etc.

So get a 2 amp charger plugs from phone shop. Just make sure its Samsung or other branded ones coz cheap oem ones might have issues (increased risk of failure, explosion, etc).

guys , im actually considering this phone and Huawei 3C .... couldnt make my mind for this price range phone  doh.gif  doh.gif

If its hongmi vs 3c, I understand but if its MI3 vs 3c, its a no brainer. MI3 win unless you can only afford up to 3c without straining your finances.

the price diff is not the problems....maybe need to play around the phone before deciding on it ...Mi3 no SD card slot , thats the problems.... sweat.gif
*
No SD and LTE is the main reason I did not get one for myself. I've been spoiled by S4 with 32GB inbuilt and 32GB SD.

Tried it. Didn't work with Spotify.
*
Of course lar....what he meant is that he is using TTPod for music. TTPod has its own library of musics....or should we said something like mp3skull but more integrated in TTPod.

Unfortunately the latest update implemented the china-based IP copyright thus no more music browsing thru ttpod BUT the direct search music function, download and recognized function still works.
