I've just started playing CoC yesterday and boy was it good!

But only headache is knowing how to reset the game once linked to Google+ games

Why does it have to be so difficult, having to create another Google+ account

why you do want to reset anyway?
if you just started, just go along la.

it's linked because the games saves into their server.
Makes hacking almost impossible.

I screwed up because I was using too much gems. I was reading some guides that you have to save them to get builders instead!

if you just started, i think it's ok la.
I am sure there are tons of achievements which give out much more gems.
clearing obstacles and gem boxes also gives gems.

yes, more builders make progress faster.
