Does anyone change the engine oil during the 2.5k inspection because my Toyota and Nissan car require to go for engine change change during the 1st 1k service? Not sure these apply to all Japs car or still apply to the recent new Japs model. Does other conti car change the engine oil during 1st 1k service?

My thought is quite logic to change the engine oil during 1st 1k service because usually engine will create more metal debris during the wear in period and also not sure how long the car has been stored before deliver to us.

Does anyone try to lighten up a bit for the steering because my wife feels it too heavy to drive the car?

To my knowledge, most cars nowadays dont need to change the oil during the first service cause during assembly they already run in the engine... hence why at 2.5k mileage we just go in for a routine check...

Yes, every time I start the car (because it's off by default).

i believe some where further back there was a discussion on this... in summary, apparently our lions have some sort of an airflow thingy that allows air to circulate in and out to avoid situations like potential carbon monoxide build up which can be fatal (u know when u sleep in the car with the air con on and windows all up) but sadly our malaysian air has turned this safety feature into something annoying.... rclxub.gif
