In Malaysia we are very famous for Kaya toast. It's really good.

But do you have any suggestions for savory spreads? Savory as in salty or meaty. Not everytime we wanna eat sweet stuff right?

Garlic butter is really expensive. I try not to spend more than RM10 a day on food so I was thinking some cheaper. Tuna is great but at RM6 a can, umm better not la...

I really like some of the suggestions. I think I'll try to find a jar of marmite. I doubt they have real beef bovril here.

Hard boiled eggs put some salt n pepper as seasonigs, add some vege to balance the meal then few drops of vege oil to dilute the possible A D E K vitamins in the vege.

If not savoury enough can pun sauce or onions n garlic, or slice some leftover steamed chicken or whatever left over beef or meat u hv.
Still gooding since roti on its own is vr plain anything goes w rice would do

Garlic butter is cheap bro...
buy 1 olive oil spread , chop up 5 cloves to 1 head of garlic depends how power you want . salt and pepper to taste. done. Its not expensive considering it will last months in the fridge.
Dont forget to get the 'spreadable' butter , or youre gonna have a bad time.
