QUOTE(I want know @ Jun 19 2014, 05:08 PM) hello there. i just want know one thing. If u r with them, u follow how they do. Or just ask them also ok. Just google it. First off I am from japan and i travel to malaysia next week. so please excuse the bad english. i want know what the table manners there are?? i hear somewhere that the malaysians they eat on the floor just like us japanese. what is they're rules? also in my country japan when they eat is rude for the women to sit "crosslegs" ('bersila' in google translate). is it rude here too? Thanks. |

If u r coming to kuala lumpur, it is ok to sit crossleg as we understand u r a foreigner. But just u need to know that in malay, cincin means ring and mangkuk means bowl. So these two words here r not foul words compare to japan.
Just b urself when u r here. We malaysians will accommodate ur culture too. |
