after the latest update of wp 8.1 dev, it become faster to resume (less than 1 second, before than it might take 2-3 seconds)....
one thing the best experience after using lumia 820 almost 1.5 years, the phone performance still as same as when i bought it...
if android, after few months, u either format or root to latest rom to get the best performance....

QUOTE(crewl227 @ Jun 19 2014, 12:08 PM) I used iOS, Android and WP before... for me, Android is the best.. Used WP for only one day then change back to android. I promise to myself that I won't let my future kids to buy WP. If they do, I will disown them. nothing is impossible..........

QUOTE(LightningZERO @ Jun 19 2014, 09:31 AM) I have heard about all this android will lag, WP will not lag talk. How true is it? Granted, I have only used my new phone for about a month, but so far the performance has been flawless. I do agree with what capsulr has said though can you side by side scroll the browser, facebook app or youtube vs mytube? my Lenovo tab with quad core so sluggish....not sure how quallcomm performance. if can take video side by side to show us.

yes, i also no issue with apps....most popular app is there or 3rd party app which better than official app....
if i use android, i always need to free the ram where i don't need to think about ram in wp...
scrolling is smooth, those never use ios or wp will never know how smooth is it...
after latest update to wp8.1 dev, the resuming time is almost unnoticeable....if developer fully port the app to support 8.1, the resuming will much more better....

QUOTE(quantum @ Jul 21 2014, 06:30 PM) Am currently using Lenovo Vibe Z Dual Sim after my 920. I still prefer WP8 OS as it looks like a premium OS. Android UI looks cheap. I had battery problems with my 920 so I sent it in to fix but when I got it back, antenna was not working. After that, I sent it in again and the GPS wasn't working. Made a complaint to Nokia, no action taken except asking me to return it to the service center for checking. Nokia didn't want to send someone over to collect my phone or couldn't give me a phone that I could borrow while the phone is being repaired. Nokia makes good phones but the service center is a totally different thing Now, I can't bear to buy a phone that costs RM2000 when the China phones are going for less than RM1000 wait lumia 930 drop until rm1499 rrp, then you can buy is around rm12XX at lazada/directd...so heart won't pain so much... i'm using lumia 820, still smooth although several updates ....i got android tablet which quad core mediatek proc, sometimes i feel wanna throw it when checking FB...it so lag and slow. even switching app or back to home, the feel not as smooth as my lumia 820...
