Last week thursday ordered Mi3 arrived today thanks to UPS who flew the phone around Asia before reaching Malaysia. Darn it.

Just check my delivery ID using fedex track by reference

1st order redmi - fedex
2nd order mi3 - not found in fedex track by reference =( so confirm is ups

if your delivery id is alphanumeric, then it is UPS.
If it is number only, means it is fedex

yes it is possible, there is a few times that fedex deliver on saturday and sunday but only if u use house address.
If office address, they will send it on weekday

That is assuming you are looking at TRANSPORT ID, not DELIVERY ID.

Hong Kong warehouse uses UPS service with that fixed route while FedEx ship from Shenzen warehouse. That's what I figure based on several deliveries that I and my friends have.

actually it is normal for UPS to delivery earlier than estimated date, all my order with UPS come early but they cant beat fedex.
And the route is normal for UPS, not sure why they fly here and there but in the end it only take 1 day to arrive in malaysia. Not much different with fedex.
