if I spray a layer of clear paint, will it make the glossy? I don't want glossy look.

Use matte clearcoatif you can find it..

@wansirpunk
U can use cale tie to tie the fan in the ODD bay..Usuallyside is intake..Plan ur casing airflow using the basic principle, intake front/bottom/side, exhaust back/top. Remember hot air travels upwards.

I think the exhaust fans are more important than intake fan as the fan will suck the air through casing's intake path. So my opinion is, leave the front panel as it is and put an exhaust fan at the blue marked place.

always depends on ur ambient.. if u have an aircond room.. put a lot of intake as it'll blow a lot of cool air inside ur warm case.. and leave some for exhaust

IMO too many exhaust fans will choke the GPU/CPU, and increase the heat. I left my side panels open and did a test whereby i placed 2 fans exhausting air from my GPU and the temp rose to 50~55 on idle. So my ideology would be to have exhaust fans which have low CFM. What do you think?

Just wandering about this... don't know if anyone asked before,

If you mod a pc and then sell it, will there be anyone who'd want to buy it?

A standard ATX casing. Front could house a single 80mm fan and back would be 2 80mm fans. I have 2 Hdds now.

I thought of modding an exhaust 120mm fan for the side panel for the gpu exhaust and put a 120mm for intake, back I would install 2 80mm fans. Would that be alright as cooling setup? hmm.gif

usually modders put side intake rather than exhaust
but there's no one to say u cant do anything with ur own setup
how u gonna mount d front 120mm intake?
try strike a balance between cooling n noise...dont want a pc tht is better @ cooling but sounds like a harrier taking off

It's just an idea in mind. I thought of retaining this casing for future usage because I wouldn't want it lying around in the house. My gpu vents are facing sideways, an old gc that is. Was thinking to utilise the side to blow out hot air. tongue.gif

Just worried that a 80mm fan isn't enough for cooling the 2 HDDs. I thought of drilling holes and install it like that, that's it. Then, maybe give the exterior a nice coat of black spray. Any good fans to recommend for 80mm and 120mm?
