Hello guys! Have a question to ask here. I was wondering where do you guys purchase the acrylic? (preferably Klang area, subang area also acceptable). I went to a hardware shop but was told that they do not sell it. sad.gif

U can basically get it at any advertisement shop. Klang got 1 near old burned Great Wall/ klang bus stand. There got 1 gym for muscle builder. Just that row of shop. They also do car plates.

Grinder is to hardcore to cut acrylic. Dremel is okay. A simple file will do for round corners.

It's vry hard 2 cut acrylic usin' angle grinder; it's a high-power tool more for grinding metals. Wht more u might damage the acrylic way more easily.

Plastic Cutter recommended more for straight cuts. File is aka kikir

Holesaw is used w/ power drill, not rotary tool

W/ a rotary tool can cut any shape but for straight lines better 2 use Plastic Cutter (unless acrylic vry thick). Jst few drags & snap.

Cutting w/ rotary tool 'll produce more dust

ok.. this is a really noob question here.. i wonder, can power tool use for cutting? and can dremel use for drill hole? cos i see every tutorial on making a blowhole always using dremel to cut and then use power tool to drill..

Guess u r referring 2 power drill & comparing it to rotary tool.

A power drill can only b used to drill holes but as large as 13mm (or 10mm in lower-end models) diameter which is more than sufficient for all general drilling works especially in modding

A rotary tool, on the other hand, lets u do various tasks like cutting , polishing & drilling too albeit limited to 3mm diameter

If jst gonna do 1-time modding, I'd recommend getting a rotary tool & use diamond points to enlarge holes. After all most often the largest diameter u need is 5mm
