Is there any where to buy a replacement PCB?

I think I've spoilt the usb connector and its beyond repair.

my mkb is rosewill rk-9000

If there are no replacements. Is there other options? I am sure that all the switches are working fine.
*
If the soldering is loose can be re-soldered or if the USB connector is broke, can be replaced.
Well, as for finding the parts in Malaysia, I'm not so familiar, maybe 0168257061 guru can help.

A good link to have a look at the "common" issue of RK-9000. sweat.gif

Yeah, I think so as well. So far so good with the FN + arrow keys. It's still a very conscious and unnatural thing to press FN + arrows but I think I'll get used to it sooner or later lah.
*
sweat.gif Ah, that Fn, I use it darn lots in my office, for the function keys as well, just feel a bit frustrated sometimes due the fact I need to press at least 3 keys to work.
Shift + arrow keys (Fn + W,A,S,D)
Holding Shift > End (Fn + . [period]) > arrow keys, 3 keys with simultaneous reaching for the forth key.

So, the finger is much busier than the normal TKL layout, but typing this is a breeze, so much gooding and feels with the MX Brown... in office. blush.gif

I had my CPU placed on the ground so I have more clearance on my desk.

So my daily routine involves me looping the wire through the wire hole and crawling under the table to plug the USB  tongue.gif

And the reverse before going home..  Well, quite cumbersome in my case.  sweat.gif
That looks great! Those modifiers though  drool.gif  drool.gif
Seems like you have a thing for DSA profile brows.gif
*
Are you using Filco with fixed wire on the back of the kbd? If so then yeah, quite crumblesome, why not just left it? Scare kenak stolen? Doubt anyone will notice it can actually buy 50 of their keyboards, LOL biggrin.gif
Anyway if it's detachable, might as well order extra from justnits, save the trouble... just a slight more. wink.gif

For me I'm plugging in and off my laptop and Poker 2 everyday, won't feels trouble though cause I just like this feeling when I'm typing right now.
Newer laptop rubber dome feels even weird and stiff... MX Brown feels much better, just louder when I bottom it out... sweat.gif

Yup, fixed wire. Well, I need to use my Filco at home as well biggrin.gif Getting used to the trouble now.

Not considering to mod it to detachable at the moment since I don't see the need for it yet sweat.gif

Your IMSTO bottoms out loud and pleasurable eh?  brows.gif
Maybe can silence it with O rings.. but you might not like the change in feel though.
*
Oh, I'm actually using my Poker 2 with its stock PBT at work, the bottoming feels is almost similar due to the thick PBT I think, feels much solid than the thin ABS that I used to have with Filco (only few days though) and with Taihao Olevetti, not to say I didn't love the double-shot but thin ABS just couldn't do it for me, if I got enough dough, I'll probably just source for Dyesub or Double-shot PBT, the later is hard to source and expensive as hell though. sweat.gif

Definitely dude. But it's wayy better than Filco stock ABS laugh.gif

So far the PBT doubleshots I've seen is from feng's ebay store, mechkb.com and/or mechanicalkeyboards.com. Need to cough enough dough from these places with the shipping  sweat.gif

If not mistaken PBT doubleshots are OEM profile.
PBT dyesubs are Cherry profile.
(correct me if I'm wrong)

So you might need take that into consideration.  wink.gif
*
If I have dough, I can have SP do it for me, but I wonder how is the quality if they put Dyesub PBT on their Dolch counterpart of which is Double-shot ABS... hmm.gif Will the font looks as good as the Double-shot? hmm.gif
Their Dolch's font is one darn fine font... that will be my future reference... sweat.gif

And... I like Cherry profile more, but if there's lower profile keycaps, I may just fall for it.. hahaha blush.gif

First time MKB? Take MX Brown (50g actuation), no-brainer switch, you'll like it better than your current one, MX Red however is much less actuation force however it may be too light if you used to the rubber dome, it's seriously light.
As for your budget, it's a bit harder to get good build Full Layout, Filco 104 should be around RM469? hmm.gif
Ducky can be cheaper but as you want the best build material, it's Filco to go, no LED no other shit, just pure switches and plate gooding, one hell darn heavy MKB to boot. thumbup.gif

yeah 1st time mkb...biggrin.gif flico nice?..i saw a video, that guy not really like filco..lol...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOGVso4xIBU

Different people different taste? I got Filco and I never regret it, but as for the stock ABS keycaps is of course not so nice, I fall in love with PBT and it's one hell hard to source and expensive as its can get.
Anyway if you have chance to test it out, go ahead, but I can tell you the different of Filco MX Brown vs my Poker 2 MX Brown, it's very slight different but one should be able to notice it once they type between both.
Filco's MX Brown IMO is smoother, less tactile and probably less resistance, feels like 48g than 50g on Poker2, the tactile on Poker2 is more pronounce, you can actually feel its presence then Filco's equivalent, I'm not sure what makes them such difference but it's there, but I don't think such subtle difference will make any different in gaming, I'm bottom it out anyway when I game.

What? You gonna roll Justnits's cable? doh.gif
It's freaking thick, 26AWG cable and the sleeve is nylon, you gonna destroy the sleeve by doing that. shakehead.gif
And note the cable is really stiff as hell, it's unlike those phone cable which is soft and rubberish. sweat.gif

Serious ah. I thought can coil any cable. And I told him to make a longer one for me LOL. Gotta PM him to change size again. Dang.

I wanna coil like this. cry.gif
*
You can only coil those thin rubber coated cable, and those soft kind which is easier to roll into shape.
High quality such as one built by Justnits's is thick copper cable, if you know quality Ethernet cable, it's that kind, even I do have slight trouble trying to bend it to fit (due to shorter length sweat.gif ).

Haha, definitely need to audition first before buying considering that it's not that affordable. Can't buy purely based on review only.

wildwestgoh If you can find Topre users in Kuching let me know. I'll be back in mid Aug for a 2 weeks so maybe can give it a try if you find any.
*
I'm searching for them myself so I can't guarantee you can find any, the only few I know now having met them is only 3 person (met face 2 face), that's on keycaps and some entry MKB, no high-end Topre.
I think hmwgbworld has 1? hmm.gif I could be wrong, but doubt he has time for us to try that long... sweat.gif

I personally think smaller layouts are nice. Big fan of 60% but curious if 40% can work as well as a 60%.

Wow, I have hard time even with Poker 2, won't even dare to think about having even less... to deal with more fingers across the board. sweat.gif

Anyone wanna swap their Poker II colour modifiers with mine? Mine is the newer PBT with doubleshot legends. I prefer the old one without any legends cos I'm on a Mac. The new modifiers look out of place on a Mac.

Das 1 looks quite cool, coz it blends in with the keyboard.

Ducky wants to be retro mah...
Looks cool for retro but the keyboard too much modern already, need to use some retro keycaps like those SA profile and retro colors to make it.... but anyway it's Shine series so it's a failed product IOO (In Our Opinion, LOL)

Volume dial and volume knob is the same thing right?

Dial usually uses twist style to turn, knob usually refer to those resistor uses push to turn like those in the small electronic devices where analogue apply.
