QUOTE(zennasyndroxx @ Jul 25 2014, 01:44 AM) if 1.5mm stainless steel or alu price okay then i'll go ahead with it. if not then 2mm acrylic? hmmm If standard 60% or tkl acrylic plate, better just get it from taobao seller Like dadudeneverabides said, its not worth it. Even lasercut acrylic plate is not worth it unless you need specific size and dimension. Go aluminium |

![]() left : aristotle cherry clone right : cherry mx clear Swap aristotle cherry clone spring for mx clear spring (thanks 016!), and totally love the feel now, feels as good as cherry blue in term of response. Key used to feel sticky during bounce back with old spring, so I loathe it for typing. Tried clone spring on mx clear, still sticky. Does this mean that shorter spring = better response or more down to quality? Or do I need to lube the spring or something? |

QUOTE(yuktsi14 @ Jul 30 2014, 11:58 PM) The price.. and imho, its cheaper to make one yourself, and replace teensy with pro micro controller (1/4 of teensy price, less pin)QUOTE(zennasyndroxx @ Jul 31 2014, 10:22 AM) 60 is okay but 40% layout is impractical IMO. Unless you use only alphas then there should be no problem. And kaiser what do you mean by teensy bga? I think its ball grid array soldering |

Can anyone help me with this since I cant read chinese and google translate sucks.
M87 PCB - does this have controller and anything related soldered? Just need to solder diode, resistor and switch? And for casing, should fit any custom made case for A.87 pcb? And what is the different between this faceu (RMB 130-160) and this faceu (RMB 80) -there goes my 'no more mkb' |

QUOTE(zennasyndroxx @ Aug 3 2014, 04:40 PM) yeah the details is in EC whereby the controller is soldered but not the resistor and diodes for the switches. the great thing about this PCB is buy 5 free 1 and buy 10 free 3. 016 might organize groupbuy soon. (i hope :3) I vote for m87 GB I think this is a pretty good buy provided that it's 175rmb for 1 and the faceu replica that he made, the quality is pretty good as well. |

QUOTE(zennasyndroxx @ Aug 11 2014, 05:52 PM) anyone wanna get m87 a.k.a. a87 clone? This is another case of salah summon it's 175RMB per piece with soldered controller and ps2avru flashed. need to get and solder diodes and resistors on our own but this PCB is the best bang for the buck! buy 5 free 1 so if we've 6 people joining us then we can get it for 146RMB which is lesser than 100 ringgit! Been dreaming of having a custom keyboard but budget tight? You can get your dream tenkeyless kibod with whatever switch you want, whatever led you want! and of course you can choose either acrylic or godly aluminium casing. If you're interested in the PCB, feel free to let me know. Currently there's 3 person who's getting it, me, ntw and fadrir so we need 3 more for a cheaper price QUOTE(KUROsaki23 @ Aug 11 2014, 06:20 PM) Join us |
