question: How to use winkeyless.kr's mapping tool? can't access to device to flash any hex files. the ps2avru notepad menu a bit not friendly sad.gif
*
the dumbest way is using notepad.
using hex requires flashing and a lot hassles.
not recommended if unfamiliar.
flash wrong anytime = gg

the dumbest? i think it's the way with the most hassle. hmm, how can I enter the bootloader mode then? press q while plugging in doesn't work. still don't know how to deal with the notepad method. very wtf.
*
Dummiest way.
Boot loader can be access via notepad, right after open press 9 on the menu.

For the keymapping in notepad, you need to save and exit after you have done.

Sigh speaking of stabs. Assembled faceu and soldered already only realize that the space bar stabs not smooth cause of one sides wire too deep in, rubbing against the stabs. Sigh malas desolder. Wait for key caps to come only desolder
*
This is how you gain experience.
Always test stab first next time before mounting all the switches laugh.gif

Wa Sudah salah. I will repent huhu. I plan to desolder all and resolder to tsangan layout straight la. Then that time really need to check properly dy haha. Also, to lube clears but I want tactility then can just use thin kryton right? Need to source lube some more :'(
Yeah that's the pain in the ass part sad.gif but I don't think the hammer plate that I'm using got cutout for space stabs.

Also, I finally know why got some people can be so freaking legendary hahahahaha!
*
lube to decrease the friction noise only
not lube the tactile part but the side slider.
this way you wont lose tactility.

Because PCB Mount stab simply gives the best feeling compared to plate mount.

Plate mount stabilizer go under the plate, not coming out from top.
You still need to desolder to access the stabilizer.

87 is 87, how can it be 60?

This one: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2843404 . There might be a cheaper one but that seller is the only one who manage to ask for blank keycaps while other seller doesn't care about it.
*
Slightly cheaper than mine
But I asked the seller, they said don't have also.

Maybe your agent more pro in this biggrin.gif
Proceed and take picture once in your hand thumbup.gif

Damn! Luckily I drop by this thread for suggestions.  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif My thanks, guys!
So pretty much stuff like Razer and Steelseries is avoided here?

Anyway, any suggestions for full size keyboard?
*
Last weekend I got nothing to do in viewnet so I jalan2 and came across to this so called razer switch keyboard.
Then nothing to do so poke the keys around lah.

Here I am going to share how does the "Razer swtich" feel, which is basically oem by Kailh.

Razer green switch
- Less distinct clicky
- Less loud
- Less crispy (If you compared to previous MX Blue version, you notice the ORI Cherry switch gives much better feeling through bottoming)
- So mushy, feeling like your switch stuck halfway unable to fully bottom it

Razer orange switch
- Where is the bump!! It is worse than MX Brown 45gram which I modded.
- No different than Mx Red. Some gamers would like to have tactile so they know their keys are being registered.
- So mushy and less crispy, like i mentioned above.

In overall these 2 switches sucks.
It is just another razer way to minimize their cost and maximize profit.

Just ordered a 87U 55g Topre from EK when I never tried any mechanical keyboard(not even a Cherry Switch). I figured that I should choose the high end switch right away rather than Cherry first and then upgrading later. I hope I don't have to change to other keyboard later.
*
you are indirectly insulting custom keyboard with cherry mx switch. whistling.gif
but good, you are graduated from mechanical keyboard, very fast.
I am still a sucker in cherry mx switch whistling.gif
