If you can wait longer, maybe 1 year from now, it might drop until RM600 plus. It's possible and it's pretty normal for hps, the prices keep on dropping like scap metal.

How come I cant receive outgoing calls from my phone if I just choose GSM Network instead of GSM/3G Network?

I hear Nokia phones can have the 3G network on and yet the battery usage is still like normal because it will automatically use the GSM network for normal voice calls/sms . Can anyone confirm if this is true? It will sucks for SE then because it doesn't work that way for them.

the band they set to automatic.. so meaning it will auto switch between the 2 gsm and 3g lor.. but i think no matter wut using gsm band only will still have longer battery life than 3g/gsm no matter wut brand u use lor..

its in effect where the headphones were "virtually" placed further from your actual ear position in order to eliminate crosstalk or death frequency zones..something like that...

remember when in school, there is a front and left speakers booming in a room and the sound effect being heard is different as you walk across the room? its to eliminate that crosstalk from 2 speakers place closely to each other....i think this is the best I can remember...we call that young's law?? is it?

erm..actually what i mean is that the '3' orange speaker holes. and the one i was talking about is the hole nearest to the cam

yeah, that is so true..sometimes SE users complaining very weak battery life when using 3G becos they bought the AP set, which shops claimed "AP original" batteries.

im not pointing finger at anyone, but some shops n ppl tend to replace the original batteries with fake ones. this has been discussed long ago, refer HERE

im using an SE phone myself, the z610i which was bought original (THORUS distributor) n so far when using 3G talk, theres no significant change in the batt life.

4 days using 3G band, 2 days if heavy sms n 3G-ing(downloading,calling).

If we choose GSM band only, we can call, SMS and GPRS-ing only. What if someone wanna video call me? How can they contact me by that? Consider as missed call?

the can call through but cannot view video.. coz the line streaming not not fast enough.. i think like this la.. the person call u see nth but u can see the person calling u er.. i also dunno.. never try b4..

okie , try use ur left hand and cover ur left ear , and on the ( stereo widening ) place the phone on ur right hand and play a song . change places bwtween left and right . after that off the ( stereo widening ) then u will know wats the differents ^^

Nothing wor, just like on the left cannot hear it if close and same with the opposite.

Mine is ori and with 3G and BT on all day.... mild calls and SMS, at the end of the day normally I still have a balance of more than 1/2 bar. I charge mine every night

yeah should be like that..i've friend tried video calling me before but because the phone wasn't setup yet, I still received the call but he doesn't received the supposed video on his side.
