Flashed Android 'L', so far so good

Please, for those who plan to flash the L preview. Please please note that this is just a developer preview version. It is not a full version, so don't complain when things are not working properly. Instead, expect it to be full of bugs cause it is not the final version ( not saying that it is full of bugs, but its like a beta version and most probably will have bugs )

Please make sure you know what you are doing. If you are not sure, stay away from it.

btw, the new boot animation.

Screenshot the settings, ver. (or any other interesting stuff) pretty please.

I believe the noobs will find a way to actually miss everything you said. so its useless to tell that.

Very tempted, downloading the factory image now. But internet 1mbps slow

That's why I think we should put a quote or something beneath all discussions relating to L preview.

Nah upon my experiences in forums over these years. they will find a way to annoy you anyway. no point giving them warning. let them break their devices. and let anybody who cares to respond to them. that's why i never respond to questions nowadays. if i'm in the mood, best i can do is troll them.

btw am i the only one seeing this?

Anyway, I'm at the xda thread looking for users reporting more on the features or bugs of the new L preview . But there's alot more ignorant people who doesn't even bother to read before they post and keep asking the same things over and over again..

that's why i said it. there'll be some in here too later on. but we have pure good souls to help no worries.

and some said its laggy, expected. but i am still flashing this after work.

There are also some who say it is flawless and very smooth.

The one who say its laggy didn't perform a full wipe. His theory was that flashing without wipe is the same as flashing an OTA. The cause of the lags is because of the new L preview, not because of going from 4.4 > L without clean wipe, which I think is wrong.

IMO, there is many changes from kitkat and you definitely cannot flash it without wiping. Same thing like custom rom. You have to perform a full wipe whenever you jump from one custom rom to another.

Do report back on your experience on the new L preview. I will probably flash it a few days after this.

Anybody extracted the Android L googl search apk?

actually for someone who use it about 10-15 minutes to say it flawless kinda exaggerating. how can you determine it is flawless within that time frame.

i'm trying without wipe. cuz who got time for full wipe. haha. i haven't wiped ever since i got my n5 for 4 months.

You're gonna face a big trouble for that.

Just wipe it. Everything needs some deep cleaning from time to time.

Anyway, noticed one small annoying bug.




At 3:10,When he press back button, the keyboard comes back up.

I am definitely not a fan of the way they handle the recents app.

In fact, I hate it!

Recent/multitasking tab should be short and simple. Now I have to scroll more to get to what I want.
