Ya, the taobao shipping fees are quite expensive, but if share with friends then okay lar. But sometimes the item can really cheap until half price leh. For example : spigen neo hybrid case for nexus 5 at taobao is only rm40-50, in ebay is rm70-90 

Dont use agent la. use the forwading service in taobao. (You only pay to Forwading Company, the shipping fees)

I had no experience with taobao, because it's too cheap, and given it's China ( if you know what I meant )

You should try it.  There are reviews about the product and chinese people do COMPLAIN if they encounter problems. If you want to be on the safe side, you could also check the reliability of the seller and how many items the seller had sold and the reviews. 

Yes, that's what I did when window shopping at eBay. What I scared on taobao is that those people commented and recommended did or didnt realize those products are genuine or not. That's my concern, yes I spoke it out loud now 

If you buy, make sure to look at the seller. Most of the time the genuine seller will have a logo saying (正）which means genuine. If not genuine can complain to taobao or the seller, they might provide refund.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll take a look. I thought we cannot buy from taobao without agent ( this is what my sis told me ) therefore my sis and I always buy items from the agents...
