Man... I feel like they're shooting in a cardboard house. Every darn thing seems to be breakable. Where to hide like this?
And that pipe-camera thingy destroys any surprise element the terrorist might have planned. How is that fair? Since it will include a single player campaign, I hope the AI will be good. I can't recall how many times I restarted due to my teammates AI not being able to "handle" it. I feel sad that R6 Patriots is not in development anymore as I really do like the concept of morality behind that game trailer. Sigh...I had such high hopes for it. |

I'm a little worried for siege ...... if player migrate from CS it might be too fast paste to rly enjoy anything "tactical" about the game offered. Ppl would just start professionally shooting trough walls and make the game look more like CS then rainbow.
Proven by a lot of other game similar to this genre. |

Hey, theshen something.
it seems like I accidentally blocked you or removed you from the friend list in my Uplay and I can't find a way to undo it. Add me again or pm me your IGN? And Uplay is a piece of crap. Effing Uplay voice chat keep transmitting my mic to those on my list who are playing with me, and they in turn constantly transmit in game, so players in game can hear me cough. The brilliant part? I disabled Uplay voice chat. |

Really a bit unsure about buying this
1. Did enjoy it 2. Did hate some players. Imagine last session this one dude with the defuser refused to plant it. I had to headshot him... Hmmm. Tested the fake n saw that challenges. GAME CAN BE PLAYED NOW THROUGH UPLAY!
Seems like performance is better with the retail version of the game. 
With Temporal filtering, no MXAA/TXAA 
With 2X TXAA and HBAO+ 
With 2X TXAA and SSBC

Quite terrible the server, had so much issues getting friends to join the squad, or they dc when we start a game. Ugh really frustrating.
Then apparently my mic keeps transmitting randomly. Setting it to PTT doesn't work, still transmits whenever it likes, but there's no icon at all that I'm transmitting so I don't know until people complain about my mic. Like daheck man. I don't even know what's the issue |

Hi guys,
See, there's this folder named [Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege] inside the folder of the same name no matter where it's installed. What i did was move out that folder somewhere else (close uplay before doing this). Then, reopen uplay and download the game. The client will try to discover the files and will only download the remaining xxxmb patch. After finish downloading the remaining files, you can safely delete the previously moved out folder. Ping is about 43ms, the ubiserver for seas located in singapore. Latency isnt a big issue, up to a point playing with china players with their great firewall

try changing ure dns to TM or local ones if ure not connecting to SEA server...
also from what i saw last time.. it was just using down/up around 2-3mbps only... |

Been playing Siege for a week plus now, so i'll put my thoughts here.
Closed Beta/Open Beta: - Extremely annoying connection issues. Most of the time i can't even finish a proper 3-round match before it'll crash - Very high 150-400 Ping more often than not. This affects my performance tremendously as I will hear no sound and suddenly die, but in my death cam the guy was firing full auto a full 2 seconds before i even got hit. - However, very satisfying game. Pretty much a smaller closed quarters version of Battlefield 4, but more tactical. Full Game: - Got it for $30USD only during the sale. Very happy. Downloaded the whole thing under 2 hours. - Ping still an issue, but I'll get sub-100 ping now more often than last time - Whole game feels much more polished, and more balanced compared to before. - Not sure about paid for renowned boosters, or why it's even there. They should do XP Boost events like others. - Very happy with the selection of maps/operators. - Still having problems joining parties sometimes, especially when my NAT magically decides to be STRICT rather than OPEN. I'll DC sometimes, but ALWAYS infuriatingly right after a nice kill streak of 6-8 over 2 or more rounds. Sigh. - Am getting 130-140FPS under Medium Settings 1440P. I don't find a point staying at High or Ultra when I feel the 120fps works better for me. I'm back to using my two favs from the Betas, twitch and Fuze. But Kapkan and Ash is my current daily use, mainly because a short aimed half sec burst from either main gun means you're pretty much dead. The explosive extras are a bonus. Add me on uPlay. NEM_Sentinel. I also have a TEAMSPEAK 3 Server open for anybody who wants to use it. PM if you want the address. I have multiple subchannels so you can have your own room channel with whoever else you're playing with. I understand that Siege requires a shit ton of team work, so actual chat via mic helps a lot. A good few tips by friends has saved the game for me by turning a last man 4v1 situation into a turnaround clutch play. Contributions would be great. So far my channel can only host up to 20 people but I don't mind expanding slots and creating specific subchannels for those who contributed a little. For the price I think it's a nobrainer. The playing experience you get from this is unlike any other, buy it!!
I think it will take some time to grind them all but after a few games you will find a few ops that fits your play style better and probably only grind those. |

Bought this game recently, it seriously need more player base in Asia. I find myself not being able to stay in any game and auto kicked whenever my ping went 300 and above, especially in off-peak hours.

There used to be more players in the region, I met MY and SG guys on a daily basis. Lots of Taiwanese also..
I guess many moved on to other games, I kind of got bored of it but that's after spending hundreds of hours in it. |

Hi,
I have encountered a problem in regard to v-ysnc and graphic feature of this game. If I disable v-sync screen tearing shows up even my FPS lower than 60. Mine just averaging 40~50 at my settings, and if I enable V-Sync the FPS is capped at 30 even though I'm just using option 1 v-sync. The workaround is only to use borderless window mode, why is this? a friend of mine bought this game, he played free weekend before so his rank is quite high yet he said he cant find anyone to play with on casual or terrorist hunt.he tried it at 12 am and also at 4 am,i know this hour people are sleeping on SEA server but is it really bad no people at that hour?i plan to buy this but i can only play during early hours...or do i have to play with european/american? how about ping?

Think there are like 3 and watching all will give you renown to help unlock your first Operator. 2. Complete all your Situations. That will help you unlock maybe the 2nd and 3rd Operator (it's been awhile i forgot how many Renown u get) 3. Do some Terrorist Hunt (Lone Wolf) mode and get used to the controls and maps. 4. Thing is Border and Favela have a serious framerate drop issue, up until now they haven't fixed it. Is Ubisucks always been like this? People over the world are complaining about this, I myself have played both maps using high specs PC and encountered a major FPS drop in full settings, ultra texture.

this game is fun as hell when it works, the problem i have is no offence to the veterans here but alot of the high level(skill rank) players come really elite.you get in a match and they will whine like oh look noobs in here and start to team kill even when you did nothing wrong,if im not getting team kill some other new players whos like hey guy i new here so please forgive me and they the high level players will shoot them.couple of times its us 4 vs 3 because someone in our team gets killed by team kill and the opposing team new players also gets killed. so the match becomes 4 v 3 or 3 v 3 at the start which is crazy.
For the past 3 days or some when i play i seen that happening every 1 out of 3 match and i dont play much which makes me just wanna quit playing,not my fault if you get match up with low level players like me. sometimes i wish team kill dint exist or you cant kill you team mate during the first 2 minutes of the match or something. im trying to raise my level so i can play ranked but somedays i just get turn off when the match starts and first thing they do is shoot some new players or you when your in the same team while shouting go back to counter strike or dota or watever game. the more new players they push away the faster this game dies,why cant they figure this out. I remember at the start every other match will have people TK, most times innocently (which is funny af) and other times intentionally, in which they got TK almost immediately in the next round. LOL. still kind of ruining the fun but I thought the servers will autokick intentional TKers?

I used to main Rook when I'm totally noob. Best thing to do as the only hting they need to do is middle click when the round started

wow how do u hack season pass? i thought i was going to get banned haha because i purchase season pass 1 from steam like 4 days before season pass 1 ended.then i realize its ending n season pass 2 is coming out so i refunded the season pass 1.steam refunded my money but the season pass was never pulled from my acc which a new player i thought once season pass 1 ended everyone get it for free. well its not my fault but my acc is okay so hope nothing bad happen since i dint do anything illegal. i even try to send support to steam asking about the season pass but never got replied.
btw i think being a console gamer most of my life and being a proper pc game for only like 1 year plus,i m really bad at this game.im not as bad in shooter but this game really need fast n proper aiming while moving slow and stuff,im just impatient and when all my teammate dies and i alone still survive i feel pressure .i think im gonna replace my crappy china mouse n get something decent so i can test around with the setting. Still jump back for a few matches here and now.
Matchmaking speed hugely improved. Quite happy that player amount is increased, not too hard to find players.. Overall skill level are high these days, playing solo is very, very hard.. Also the alpha packs seem interesting. Still looking forward to see more content for R6S, still the best PC PVP game to me by far. |

Read the rules on when you can use the Store Credit (7 Sept - 14 Sept)  thanks to a friend for sharing. Basically so long as you purchase any of the R6S packages, u will get store credit back. So long as you want to get something else on the Uplay store. Technically you can just get the base game then use store credit to get season pass. prior to that - give the game a trial fun since this weekend is free. it is not easy - best with friends. can be toxic, but it is very unique in terms of asymmetrical PvP and design. hello, i bought the game on May. I bought the Standard Edition while it was on sale at RM80 in Steam. been playing but not regularly. Last week I had unlocked Caveira using Renown (25k). then i just realised that it would take an enormous amount of time to unlock all operators. I just want to know, were there any discounts in the past for the Year 1 season pass on Steam? been thinking about purchasing year 2 season pass and it would be good if there would be a discount during Steam Autumn Sale.

FREE Weekend again from February 15th-20th! Personal advise: 1. If really interested in R6S, DO NOT buy the Starter pack because it makes the grind to unlock operators more painful. 2. Watch all training videos (there is only 3 and can be skipped) the Renown you get should help to unlock at least 1 operator and their basic weapon attachments. 3. Do as much Situations as you can to understand the basic mechanics to the game. But it will NOT prepare you for real combat, there is alot of skill and strategy in this game, and that you can only learn over time, either in-game or watching others play. 4. DO NOT be disappointed if you keep losing. See #3. 5. Play with buddies and use comms alot. Six just called, time to reactivate Rainbow. |

Be advised, most current CC have R6 install so if you have friend have bad internet connection just head over to the cc and try it out. Ash if you like fast attack characters, trains your aiming and pre-fire. IQ - good to counter Pulse, electronics, Lesion & Gu mines and Vigil Hibana - for now she is most flexible for hard breaching and speed Jackal - for fun only. annoys the roamers if you can spot them before they kill you. Decent weapons and speed if you know how to use him. Dokkaebi - fun to use. has very deadly weapons, can be annoying when you call enemy phones and can hack their cameras. Def: Rook - good and easy to play for new players. has ACOG but is very slow and loud. Smoke is always very meta and decent anchor. decent weaponry and speed. just don't smoke your friends. Mira is the defeacto anchor, slow and loud but if you know her tactics, you can defend sites well. her weapons are very good at close range. Lesion - my personal favorites because can throw annoying traps Kapkan - fun only with his traps. slow and loud. Castle - will get a slight buff in next update. and very meta if you know how to play him. pick rate is still pretty decent in the recent Majors. Caveira - fun if you are confident in roaming and flanking. must have decent map knowledge to really enjoy her. Valkyrie - fun operator. learn all the hiding spots for cameras. but remember Dokkaebi can hack your cameras. The Germans - Jäger and Bandit. Both are fast and have decent weaponry. Have been nerfed a fair bit, but can still be useful because of their gadgets and speed. Pulse - Still has alot of use, as both anchor and roamer because of weapons and gadget. Wall hacking is legit in this game Echo - Slow, loud and weapons may need some getting used to. But his gadgets have been getting buffed such that he is getting more picks at the esport level because it acts as an additional camera. Plus recent French Majors they been placing his drones in very sneaky spots. remember - this game is unlike any other game, it allows players to use cameras, drones and other gadgets to learn where the enemy is. use it to your advantage. don't always rush. if you are unsure of a room, drone it. if you do not know where the enemy is - use whatever cameras are available to you. information is king in this game and no other competitive game has such a feature. use it to your advantage. most of all have fun. additional: Personal advice: Unlock Tachanka last. welcome to the game!
hmm one thing i might add is not to play Castle until you have a group of player that can strategize together. Too many times they lock themselves helpless.. Also if someone throw insults around, report it (toxicity behavior). i get very annoyed when ppl scold and tk around. |

Anyone wanna squad up casually (or maybe comp) with me? I play on PC with my highest comp rank being Gold I before I moved back to msia and can't play with my uni mates anymore due to latency.
Just looking for a casual squad to chillax with since most of the time I am solo queuing against diamonds and plats in casual with no team-play But hey, if we work well as a team, don't mind doing comp every now and then, try to grind to dat sweet plat and above. Hit me up, "meaples" on PC. |

The crowd reaction when an esport team was 1 man down (he was sick), and their coach stepped up to play for them in the quarterfinals. They were the underdogs, and against fan favorites and not on their best map. Went into the arena to just play for fun and enjoy themselves. Ended up winning 2 matches and heading into the semi finals.

it was nice to see 2 APAC enter the semifinal, but EG was kinda underperforming??
And it makes for a rather mediocre semi and final match with G2 so overpowering lol |

the game is almost 5 years now.. people come and go
but i agree it never has much of a scene here it is pretty big in this region though, jpn/indo/aus has good success in the world esport events for me i faded out, it is still fun but the game lost its excitement to me |
