Starter editions are coming!
http://rainbow6.ubi.com/siege/en-CA/news/d...cm:148-76770-32 ![]() ![]() Returned to the game and it's much improved. Can't find any hackers anywhere, the new ranked ladder is pretty decent now because it resets. And is great fun testing your skills. |

FREE Trial Weekend still on! http://rainbow6.ubi.com/siege/en-gb/news/d...cm:148-76770-32 And soon, Rainbow Six Siege’s Season Four Operation Red Crow will launch with the Skyscraper map QUOTE In Operation Red Crow, two S.A.T. Operators join Team Rainbow to neutralize the threat residing in our new free map, "Skyscraper". Officially classified until 1996, Japan’s Special Assault Team (S.A.T.) is comprised of small highly trained teams spread throughout Japan. QUOTE S.A.T. Operator Masaru Enatsu was born in Suginami City, Tokyo, a location known for its several animation studios and technology companies. After completing his bachelor’s degree at Tokyo Metropolitan University, Enatsu joined the National Police Academy. He was then recruited by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Special Unit before transferring to the Aichi Unit. QUOTE Yumiko Imagawa is a Nagoya native who joined the National Police Academy when she was 18 years old. Shortly after, she was recruited by the Aichi Prefectural Police Department Special Unit. Due to her explosive leadership skills on the field, she gained the nickname Hibana, which means “Spark”. |

QUOTE(Vigilant @ Nov 15 2016, 08:59 PM) Hi, is your video drivers the latest and is G-sync enabled on your Nvidia Utility side? try disabling G-sync (on the utility side) and see if it helps. and just curious - what about your monitor's refresh rate?I have encountered a problem in regard to v-ysnc and graphic feature of this game. If I disable v-sync screen tearing shows up even my FPS lower than 60. Mine just averaging 40~50 at my settings, and if I enable V-Sync the FPS is capped at 30 even though I'm just using option 1 v-sync. The workaround is only to use borderless window mode, why is this? I'm using 750ti, Windows 10 & 60FPS monitor |

QUOTE(Vigilant @ Nov 16 2016, 11:02 AM) Stated on my post above, monitor is 60 FPS. I will check about the G-Sync option later. Thanks for the reply there is a difference between monitor refresh rate and the game's own FPS output.that is the whole reason for v-sync and the other G-/Free-sync technologies were developed. QUOTE Screen tearing and stuttering are the effect of a misalignment between the number of frames your graphics card is rendering per second, and the number of times your monitor is refreshing. If your screen is in the middle of drawing one image, and is handed another, it stops what it’s doing and draws the new one. That causes stuttering as the image catches up, or a horizontal tear where portions of two frames are on screen at the same time. http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/nvi...-stick-with-it/ just throwing out possible causes for your observed problem since i do not know your monitor nor your system settings. |

![]() Maybe this might help in familiarizing with the maps. http://www.r6maps.com/ edit: 1. Watch all the training videos. Think there are like 3 and watching all will give you renown to help unlock your first Operator. 2. Complete all your Situations. That will help you unlock maybe the 2nd and 3rd Operator (it's been awhile i forgot how many Renown u get) 3. Do some Terrorist Hunt (Lone Wolf) mode and get used to the controls and maps. 4. Go online. Play. Die. Learn. This post has been edited by pyre: Nov 28 2016, 08:31 PM |

second season pass is now available since the first season officially ends today. i think you do not need the season pass if you don't want to pay for it. just the base game will be sufficient. that also means you can need to unlock the Year 2 operators via Renown (in-game credit). Team Rainbow is a GO! QUOTE Year 2 Operators and Bonus DLC 8 new Year 2 operators across 4 seasons 8 exclusive headgear customizations 8 exclusive uniform customizations R6 Carbon charm 600 R6 Credits to purchase in-game content VIP Perks 7-day early access to each season's new Operators. 10% discount in in-game shop 5% Renown boost to unlock in-game content faster 2 extra daily challenges To date, Siege has received four major expansions: Operation Black Ice, Operation Skull Rain, Operation Dust Line, and Operation Red Crow. Ubisoft previously confirmed that Rainbow Six Siege has 10 million registered players, and that Siege increased its daily active users by 40 percent after the launch of the Skull Rain expansion. |

QUOTE(Vigilant @ Dec 25 2016, 07:48 PM) What I'm trying to say here, the game is not dead, it has a yearly season pass and also competitive scene, but in my experience in online gaming, the player base is still not that good compared to game such as Overwatch. The ratio would be like Overwatch: 10 - 1: Rainbow Six Siege. agree fully. but actually player base is not bad, even yesterday was rather fast to find matches (even for ranked)But I must say, you can always still find a multiplayer game in the region regardless of the time. It's the matter of how long does it takes to gather 10 players for a 5v5 game. Season pass is really optional, it just unlocks operators(character) and skins. If you have the money and don't have time to play hours a day to accumulate point that can unlock operator and skins, just buy it. Have many operators are essential in this game cause of their unique abilities. This is not something like CS:GO. |

QUOTE(quarantined @ Dec 28 2016, 05:54 PM) Well I'm kind of bad at most FPS yet it doens't stop me playing them hehehe good to see your determination. yeah i'm pretty bad R6S as well, but after a year the game has matured and player skill level can be amazing. match-making is still very horrible of course I didn't play R6s for a long time though. Probably jump in for a few match this week. For me R6S still >>> Overwatch (which I regret buying)... IMHO, just preserver, learn from mistakes (fast) and be willing to lose gracefully. because it really boils down to player skill. and you can tell when players are very good. |
