FYI,
I just do a test, with the whatapps task killed from task manager, any new message will not get notify unless i open whatapps manually.

So the main point is, your Whatapps must locked in your task manager.

read back my post early, we take whatapps as example, you can add LINE, WeChat yourself.
(for me, i have wechat, messenger, facebook added and locked.)

Yes, sort of like an update. However, 4.6.6 we referring to is the developer rom, not stable rom.

I don't see the point of pinning the benchmark on first post. Benchmark scores varies differently, sometimes you get high score, sometimes you get a bit lower.

MIUI updates it's developer rom every friday, we called it "Orange Friday". Stable rom once a month.

I thought developer rom for developer only , how come you guys can get it one ? Or developer is just another word for beta rom?

Some sort like beta, it's available for public to test it and give feedbacks, and that's how they can provide updates every Friday. If you're interested, can get the rom from en.miui.com download page.

Are you on dev rom? It's a bit lower now. Stable rom you can achieve better.

It's called developer rom for a reason, it's still developing to get stable.

haha dont really keen on benchmark though, just a figure for me, no big deal, MI3 still awesome

so the mi3 screen is almost not visible at all when using polarized sunglasses! found that out in the car today lol.
previously was using htc one and 5s, both displays were still visible
