the phone port got problem 1.. now i need adjust like 10minutes to get the phone charging.. the datacable i also no more using it.. coz very annoyed with adjusting the cable here and there, up and down..

there is a small rubber that u can remove from the data cable.

just check near the connector to phone's area. remove it.

it will 'help'

not 100% but it help a lot for me. i got 3 cables.. i tested.

since you said you have not touched your phone for a long time i'm guessing dirt is starting to collect on the port....use a tooth pick and clean the connectors on your phone 1 by 1

my phone left in the box so no dust stuck at the port lor.. but still cannot charge.. today go check at neighbour house.. fake charger also cannot use.. new ori chager also cannot use.. the port they check say no problem..

i meant dirt...or corrode or rust or whatever...

sien need to stay here another night...

Mine also like that nowadays, the data cable, the charger.. everything start to worn off already.. this sux , and i always complain about how the
original housing isnt as good as other brand does, i never eccounter any problem
with original housing when using Nokia phone, the silver side panel easily worn off, and it now goes white.. the rubber skin is starting to worn off too.. hopefully
Motorola would learn how to make a higher quality housing, no?

Btw, is there really a new MP out there? i'm, getting bored too with this MP i'm

about the coparisson to V360, i use V360 before, though only for a short while,
and must say that the screen is ofcourse noticeably better than of E398, but
the other must be the speaker, E398 Rox! but i think they are about the same.

the side panel i sking it using CF sticker i bought from rezzz.. looks kinda nice also la..

great news juz came. in.. after a long while use back my e398.. juz exit the door and sawe its raining.. run towards my car while talking on my phone.. dunno who the heck locked my car door which is always open(maybe my cousin borrowed it and locked it).. the phone then slips and fell into a puddle of water..

test results..:-
phone still working great.. restart itself after then water when in.. after a while system off.. then i dry it up until now dun dare to switch it on anymore..
