Addme as an E398 user

Help Me, My E398 stuck
Stuck at motorola boot screen.

I downloaded FF7AC Skin by ZrA,
in the readme it says that i need to copy mma_ucp file included
to make the skin work at a/mobile/system, also it says to make
a backup, so i did make a backup of my mma_ucp and then upload
the included mma_ucp to my phone.

But after restarting the phone
it hanged at the motorola boot screen and there is no way for
me to restore the original mma_ucp that i backed up because
i cant use any software including p2k because it wont detect
the phone even though i can see in the device manager that
the phone is connected and detect as a modem.

What is the solution to this? it still can run in bootloader mode
and also if not turn on, i can charge the phone and see the
icon and word that the phone is charging.

how to restore my mma_ucp? because this is clearly why i cant
start my phone. Now how to upload the mma_ucp back?
if i flash the firmware then reflash back to the original
firmware 99R can fix the problem?

please kindly help me. thx in advanced.

Can anybody point me or upload a MTV hijacked version of R372_G_0E.20.99R
malaysian version? i cant find it on internet just find an indonesion one, scared to
flash with that version, please help me

And oh, Jason, i found the housing for this phone selling at Rm 20 something,
higher quality (maybe higher quality) for Rm 40 something. Saw at puchong.

All color also hev lor, not Ioi, ioi what have there? go to Puchong Perdana, and go to OTK area (also famous for its ABC mamak) go to the biggest phone store there, its really big, like 2 or 3 shop lot alltogether, i once ask a small shop and they ask me Rm 80 to change the cover lor, went to that BIG shop and its available even on display area lar, many choice lor, all kind of rare flip housing also can find there Kindda cheap, compare to other place that want Rm80... there can get like 20 something

Anyone have a MTV hijacked backup firmware?

yeah, i need the stock R372 firmware, got from internet and flash it, my phone is back alive again, but its indonesian version, i need a malaysian version to flash since still got warranty, after warranty expires i will upgrade to r372, lol.
a Stock malaysian R372 MTV hijacked version firmware is needed. thx.

Btw i also bought V360, and i think its browse faster than e398, the screen is nicer since its 262k.. the java aplication also run faster, i mean they both have the mp3 java player and e398 is lagging cvompare to v360. There are slight diff of both phone, but they are indeed great in their own way. E398 is for music people.. and oh the v360 camera is better imo than e398..

Ah, for ppl who look for casing, i went to the store i said and they now have a very beautiful Blue e398 housing, wow.. must get that later, and a red one. so now they have white, blue, black and red. price is diff a bit, depend on quality i guess, there is a 19.90 one, which is fragile (lol cuz the display unit also crack already) and more expensive 45. Tho also available in medium rm 29.90. But this is not an original housing lar..

Guys , reccomend me a good Monster Pack, as i cant find the Malaysian MTV hijack firware, might as well upgrade it since also no warranty left by flashing to that indonesian version.

First i need to flash the 42 for all right? then reccomend me a good MP.

Heya All, I have a question to ask la, why my E398 (flashed to StarterXp 46R), the itunes on pc dont work? i use itunes 4.9 on pc but it never detect my e398? tho when i plug my e398, both itunes on my pc and phone start automaticaly... the itunes on my phone is 2.8 vassio. anyone know how to make it work with pc itunes?

After flash, u need to do the itune fix if itune for pc didnt detect your phone.

Btw, anyone have e39 for sale?

Ohoo u dare buy the rm 15 one kah? very low quality easily break especially the part in around the joystick.

Why after mod, java games that i play lack sound? some sound did not appear?
this game run smooth on original platform. Mod to 46R StarterXp

No lar, not the setting in the java setting. I install many games lor, all like that one, currently i have 30 games from gameloft (30 is the limit? it cant upload more that that ) and all lack sound, not that it doesnt have sound at all, but some of the sound effects doesnt come out, u notice this when playing game such as splinter cell.

Also have problem with "supposed" to be "unlimited" itunes version, which
only can store 100, using itunes 7 for pc and G4 for E398

And i think black case only come with silver side plate.. only the white got red plate. There is a cheap cheap casing that u can buy tho.

Already flashed why must reflash? I'mm too lazy to loose SMS and upload all stuff again. The 100 song limit already been fix, it seems that it is the Itunes for pc problem, which can be bypass using "send to Playlist" now got 150 songs in my phone, thats great~~
Now its just the game sound problem, still looking for the fix.

Cant detect earphone? u using the original or some kind of audio jack converter?
Try some other earphone lar, borrow someone who have. Its either the phone problem
or the earphone problem. Also can try this software too :

rubber layer is great, but Even the ori e398 housing is really really low in quality,
unlike Nokia housing which the plastic itself is made to be in whatever color it should be, the Motorola is white in color, just sprayed into what color they comes in, and suprisingly, even that, E398 has only 3 color.. dang joo Motorola! make more quality housing!

Humm, but that a retail price rite? i mean, some casing that sell for Rm 10 ven bought by Rm 2.50 something at dealer price. I wonder how much the dealer price for that Rm 50 something E398 casing

HUhu, micro SD is twice the price of the normal one, buy 512Mb Micro can get 1Gb at the same price for normal one.. why micro so xpensive ar? huhu
I'm suprise to see that even NOT original Casing for E398 still come in 3 color only,
Black, Blue and White.. wonder why they didnt spice it up since its NOT original anyway

Mine also like that nowadays, the data cable, the charger.. everything start to worn off already.. this sux , and i always complain about how the
original housing isnt as good as other brand does, i never eccounter any problem
with original housing when using Nokia phone, the silver side panel easily worn off, and it now goes white.. the rubber skin is starting to worn off too.. hopefully
Motorola would learn how to make a higher quality housing, no?

Btw, is there really a new MP out there? i'm, getting bored too with this MP i'm
using, but well, maybe i can change the skin or two, but nowadays skins also

about the coparisson to V360, i use V360 before, though only for a short while,
and must say that the screen is ofcourse noticeably better than of E398, but
the other must be the speaker, E398 Rox! but i think they are about the same.
