His front bumper, if properly fitted, looks much better than the one made by R3 for the Persona. Somehow it just doesn't look nice.
*
This is R3 for Persona? I thought is the same one with NEO

What I can say , no differences between the materials just the differences is the design. Actually RM 8 already consider cheap for persona cabin filter. Even can match with our Saga BLM. sad.gif
*
Thanks for the effort!
I'm ok for rm8. Now depends on the rest fubar20

Hi, I recently bought a Proton Persona 2008 SE model.
I want to flush out all the fluids and top up all the fluids as follows:
Engine Oil:
Transmission Fluids:
Brake Fluids:
Power Steering Fluids:
Radiator Fluids,

So can you recommend what fluid brand and type should I use?

Oh and one more thing, Ive noticed everytime I brake my car my brake pedal vibrates up and down and bit, even the braking is like brake loose brake loose like that, is that a warped rotor or brake pad problem?
*
EO : Any reputable brand will do. Xw40 oil is my own preference. Don't dare to go Xw20 or Xw30.
Transmission fluid : Petronas SP3 from SC
Brake fluid : As long as it's DOT4
Power steering fluid : Same with transmission fluid
Radiator fluid : Not sure, there is some better fluid that protects piston as well according to my magisen

As for the brake, do check on the rotor condition.

Results:
Poured in the whole bottle into a tank half filled with Shiao. Br1mmed the tank with Caltex Premeowm RON 95. Went out to drive for close to an hour. Came back with a small part of the left bottom front hood chipped till bare metal cry.gif. Applied Mehguaiyeh Ultimate Pays Wes. Hopefully it'll stop the exposed area from rusting grumble.gif

which brand /model is good and within my budget(around rm 200+- for both front&rear)?
this one good aa? http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1300445
*
I used this on my other car. Ceramic will have some metal particles as part of the material for better braking, IINM. Mine will be noisy from time to time during braking.

Sifus what's the recommended brand for brake pad replacement for front disc brake for Persona elegance again? Time to get it changed as I almost met an accident at kelana jaya area along LDP a few weeks back. Lucky I managed to pull up my hand brake.
*
Just changed mine to Bosch pad and TRW rotor as well. Braking force much better compare to original.
If you're looking at superb pad. I can offer you Project U pad. Google it up biggrin.gif

I googled it up and saw it from another site. A bit too expensive for my budget. Any other recommendations?

Cheap and cheerful : Bosch.
Bendix will be around rm100 for general and rm140 for metal king.
Don't bother original Poorton. It's Mintye.
