You know what, 5 years back I used to think bad bout persona, it's campro engine, bad fc because of the heavy body. So so design. And now I have driven one for almost half a year already, haha, totally out of my expectation.
*
What I like the most is the design to be frank.
Personal preference maybe laugh.gif

Yeah everything is according to the manual - timing belt, water pump etc. It's just that I'm curious what others have paid for their 80,000km service. How much did you pay for yours?  hmm.gif

Tak mau consider going outside for major service?

I also going to do 80K service at SC. They tends to do more thorough checking of the car and identify issues missed by my usual mechanic that usually just change according to service list. So I service outside except for major service where the SC will do thorough checking of the car every 20K.
*
SC might do a better job provided the SC is good. Estimated cost for 80k service is rm1000+? sweat.gif

Proton Edar dealers get few percent of part price as incentive for performing the warranty claim (if it deemed valid, cannot simply claim) and the labour to perform it (if the incident claimable).

Common dealers not to prefer to do warranty claim but normal service as normal services will give much better return.

The World car care in Sri Petaling not only get incentive but also the parts then. Claimed door actuators, window bracket and bonnet lock there. Got receipt and everything but never contact me to go back and change one. Call them, keep telling me haven't reach.

QUOTE(Cavino @ Sep 10 2014, 12:55 PM)
Ok lar, no need be sarcastic, just say I'm wrong straight away. I have obsolete and even outright wrong knowledge and unless someone point it out when I wrote it, I would not know I'm wrong. You can say why not google first....getting lazy..tot no need...

My old air-cond man used to tell me that thus its ingrained into me. I guess that might have apply to the old school cars' air-cond last time, something to do with shortening starter motor life (ie..engine for me), etc, maybe. Now thinking abt it, I think it only applies to carb engine (which I drove last time), again not sure liao.

It seems switching air-cond after starting car might even warm it up faster but one thing I always encountered in cold start, if move immediately after switch air-cond on cold start, in most occasion, engine drag like no power one, so like Jason did, always wait to warm up a bit then switch on air-cond. But if super hot....tak peduli liao..
*
1st start in the morning warm up then only switch on air cond and drive.
Following one, if not hot then wait until 50c only on air cond. If hot, no need bother.
I always drive without air cond early morning and chilling night time though.

yes, it was full when i took the car in May

Hmmm. The fluid shouldn't become lesser though.
Since your car still under warranty. Consider sending back to SC? Complain the problem.

it will if brake pad gets thinner.
the secondary usage of brake fluid level observation is pad life/indicator.
*
I use my brake pad until habis and scratches my rotor also fluid level still the same. Didn't know the level will decrease if brake pad gets thinner. Learn new thing.
