True.. a plate of jiken rice in change airport cost $6 only.
*
jiken rice in ordinary shopping mall rice in Chicken Rice Shop(CRS) franchise will cost you about rm15 for one person
then general knowledge pricing in airport times two(2)....
so the price will be rm30++ in airport ler..

Mareshia... when govt say harga barang naik sikit everyone goes haywire...
When airport charge outrages price, everyone cool and understandable..

common mistake made by malaysian ppl..
they always order food without even looking at the price first laugh.gif
then when the bill comes...they complaint

p/s:
i have an experience working in F&B for 5 years..
that's the common problem i encounter with malaysia customer....
and the best parts is they always told me....
" Apasal harga mahal sangat???? saya biasa makan kat tempat lain harga RMxx jer!! "

all airport have some cheap food place for staff.. LCC food court also ok..rm 6-7...don muang/suvarnaphoom also far away..but the food court price only 40-50baht same like in bkk. so why the f***ed up KLIA2 so much more expensive. kopitiam also ex. KLIA food court also not that expensive. poor staff who work there.....when is food court opening ?
*
that's why...
if the airport staff them self complaining it's still can be consider la...
and here are some good tips to get cheap food...
always ask the staff....either in genting or airport
don't be shame to ask makcik/pakcik/abang/kakak/bangla/myanmar/vietnam/indonesia cleaner worker where to get a good and cheap food around thumbup.gif

p/s:
but one thing i encounter most of the time...
in those places(genting or airport)..
the "cheap" food stall seller alreay become "pro" to distinguish you as 1st timer customer and their regular aka (genting or airport) staff
so the pricing will be different...but of course it's all up to the seller laa...

airport international la time to milk all those foreigners.. i propose 2 type of pricing one for malaysian one for foreigner lol.. must show IC before order
*
hahahaha...another subsidy for local customer
user posted image

and guess what??
it's already being practice in our local business conduct environments..

" if you eat at certain "foreigner" restaurant...
their "countrymen" can get a cheaper price
while "local" customer get cut throat
laugh.gif "

p/s:
it's all depend on the "seller"
so the solution is learn how to be their "countrymen"...
learn their language and culture so you can get at cheaper price thumbup.gif
