KLIA2 = "low cost terminal" but F&B more expensive than Pavillion, eh? 

transport cost - bringing raw materials to airport usually is kinda far compared to other areas.

wages - ppl who worked there will factor in their own transport costs into their asking wages

rental - airport rental is not cheap considering they have a good supply of people

naturally, all costs will be passed to consumers

expensive becos entertaiment tax like Genting...dont u feel so happy in airport? if u do, u have to pay for the happiness  if u dont, still need to pay for other pipu there oso...

e.g. to maintain margins most companies are secretly doing "price adjustment" this year so next year is ready for GST.
only natural for KLIA2 outlets to be expensive but the price is absurd.
imagine those uncle and aunty thought can save money buy AA ticket only RM100 but when go KLIA transport and makan alone would be almost equal the ticket price.
sounds stupid, right?

i sent my friend there few weeks ago, she offer to spend makan.
3 person eat at this kopitiam style shop, total bill RM97.80. 3 glass of coffee, 2 nasi lemak n 1 tuna sandwich.
!@#*$&% one nasi lemak with fried chicken and kuah rendang RM23.90. 
opportunist concept, u dont spend u tahan lor.

kalau tak tahan harga habis macam mana? buat tered bodo kat /k apa gunanya?

while the posh eateries catering for foreigners being overprice is acceptable , i think having a food court there with locals friendly pricing would be good.

at most places there is this duality.

KLCC/Pavi have food courts which although are still expensive but still acceptable.

Even a money swindling place like Genting has really cheapo food courts but hidden and tucked away but they exist.

But i think the food at singapore changi airport is reasonable

Coz u won't know if it's the last meal you will be taking before taking the flight

airport need to tanggung utilities bills, maintenance and other bills for an airport to be in good condition 24/7...

kalau nak murah... buat airport kat tanah lapang, takyah dinding, takyah letrik, takyah air... sesiapa nak buka stall bayar harga sewa tapak saja...

kalau macam tu ada pula orang kutuk... apadaa ini je tahap airport malaysia...

shopping complex kalau mahal sangat orang tak pergi... banyak option lain kat bangunan sebelah... airport mahal sangat orang terpaksa... walaupun dedua perlu bayar utilities bills dan maintenance...

food court kat shopping complex pun bukan nyer murah walaupun jual volume...
ok... turn hang plak fap
