I'm have been using linksys E1000 router provided by Time for >2 years, so far no major issue. It's on 24/7 and stable, only have to reboot it every 2-3 weeks. Don't know why E1200 got issues.
I set google dns in windows instead of the router. Speed for me is mostly maxed out at 10mbps (defualt), and around 20-30 mbps if boosted. |

Hi yeapch01/jjj2,
I currently have 10MB Time Fibre line attached to Astro IPTV. Can I get a second 100MB line? If possible, does it require additional fibre wiring? |

QUOTE(SouzaDE @ Jan 2 2016, 11:02 PM) Looking forward to sign up. Can anyone recommend a good router? Or the free router provided is good enough? I heard that the free ZTE router from TIME is crap.Asus N300 routers should be good enough if you have <30 Mbps internet. If you have 100mbps internet and you have AC wifi devices, you can go for TP-LINK Archer C7, from the reviews in this forum and internet, it is quite good. |

QUOTE(don13 @ Jan 7 2016, 02:34 PM) Yes, I tried iflix before. To me, Netflix definitely better in term of content. Video quality of Netflix also better. Why don't you give both a try, both offer free 1 month trial period. |

When does the 100gb quota reset? Is it one month after activation date or is it on fixed day of the month for everyone?

QUOTE(TXSim @ Mar 5 2016, 10:59 AM) Any connection to any internet destination is not stable. Connection drop randomly as you can from the ping log.I have restarted router and modem several times. Internet was totally dead this morning until I restarted router and modem, I know this is due to maintenance last night. |

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Mar 5 2016, 02:36 PM) Hi Bro, It's PPPOE connection drops & reconnects itself every minute. I can see this from router's log.PPPOE connection drops & reconnects itself every minute ? Or actually you have ping timeout when pinging certain servers ? Please call me or text me should you require further assistance. Thanks. However, it is stable now, no disconnect since my last post. Thanks. |

QUOTE(BadBadtz-Maru @ Mar 22 2016, 08:58 PM) Guys, I want to boost up speed and realized my speed already upgraded to 200mbps! But I test at speedtest only can get around 70-80mbps, is it because i'm using the modem that TIME gave me? Change your router (not the modem) to wifi AC router.I'm getting 300Mbps via wifi with AC1750 router and AC1750 card. |

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Mar 23 2016, 08:33 PM) I think last time I was gonna change to Time, people here told me not to from Unifi. Haha I get those messages too when I asked about Time. I think those are Unifi agents. They told me how bad Time was, but they didn't know I have been using Time braodband as part of Astro IPTV for a long time and I had no complain. Is the speed and everything stable now? Also how is the ping and etc too. |
