Dear Bro

You can consider Asus Router RT-N14UHP , the firmware is very stable and coverage at wide range.

Cost of The asusrouter only lesst than RM300.

Can you name some of the router tested with Time?

If just the wifi router without astro, I have change the xiaomi mi wifi mini, so far so good. You can register a mi account, and plug in an external storage, then you can remote download file into the external storage, and also, you can remote kick ppl out and blcok them from accessing you wifi, by using their mobile app, but in is in madarin. icon_idea.gif

I brought from here http://www.lelong.com.my/0-shipping-xiaomi...7-01-Sale-I.htm previously, but I think they have out of stock, you might look around for that. It will be better if you know mandarin, a lots of their tools are in mandarin.

How did you connect the mi router to Time? Mind to list down the steps?

Today just installed the 10mb. But the wifi speed is terrible. I only managed to get about 4-5mb beside the provided linksys router. Cable can get close to 10mb. Does this mi router help in term of wifi speed?
*
There is not much steps actually, quite straight forward, but I not at home now, so unable to get the interface for you. I think you can get some idea on setting up it from here: http://en.miui.com/thread-91292-1-1.html. For wifi speed it will depend on the wifi band you connected and your distance from the wifi router itself. Mi wifi mini come with 2 band, 2.4 and 5 GHz, so far I didn't notice problem with my connection.

I'm also facing the even after the boost, my speed test still showing the 7mb++ speed on both speedtest.net and time website. Using both wireless (5GHz) and wired, both also the same result. I have even restart the modem, I really hope to know if time dot net still fulfilling their promise on the 50mb boost, or it has become a joke.....

Hi Bro,

This could be the Free Boost feature bug that sometimes happen...
Symptoms :
1) Eventhough you have boost the speed, it's still stuck at the speed before boost.
2) Boost Hour does not reduce...

Pls kindly report to CS at 1800 18 1818 or customerservice@time.com.my

Thanks.

I really feel bad on this, I still saw the boosting count down still going on, nothing I can do on it, this is bad.... If TIME is aware of this problem at yet to do something to fix the problem, it show they didn't do their best to fulfill their promise.

I feel sad with TIME Fibre Business, last time to upgrade from dynamic IP to fix IP, only 1 time charges (I think is RM500), now they want to charge RM200 per month... duh.... And 2 years contract mean almost 9 times more expensive....

What happen to TIME Broadband? I notice there is keep having intermediate short downtime which causing my VPN connection keep disconnecting. Continuous ping to Google DNS server show that on and off I get a few continuous Request Time Out and then back to normal.....

Dear bro

This is unusual , king send me more  tracert result to my email  yeapch@gmail.com , also provide me your tbbn so that i can report to the technical support

thanks
*
The difficulty of this is that the short downtime is not long enough for me to perform a tracert on that time, but enough for some of my software and VPN to disconnected from the host.... And it do have a good ping response time when not Request Time Out.... You wouldn't feel it for normal browsering, but for connection sensitive application, the result is frequent disconnection.

*
Sorry that I don't use whatapps, I know it look weird, and I purposely buy a lousy phone for company number so that they can't force me to use whatapps, whistling.gif . With out whatapps already get tons of text message of loan, house advertisement everyday....

Don't expect much.... Since their website is down also, and stop thinking of calling their hotline, with so much area in klang valley affected, you can imagine how hot is their hot line (well let hope their hotline is not using internet phone).

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Which area no connection please inform me the area name.

I really don't think need to report which area is down since TIME website is down also, I believe their should be well aware of the problem, else their team should be fired, doh.gif .

Did anyone facing the 50MB boost didn't work? For the last few times, after I activate the 50MB boost, I never notice any changes on the speed, it still remaining near to 10MB before and after the boost activated.
