I agree. I don't understand why folks would buy a relatively expensive condo further away when they can find one for the same price in a more central location. I would only buy a property further away if I can't find a similar one in a more central location like a freehold landed property.

was told by someone who rented here, the price is picking up?

He rent here since 2020 before MCO fully furnished at 1.2k but now cannot get that rate anymore. might be around 1.5-1.6k.

I wouldn't simply kick out a good tenant for extra few hundreds of rent. They are hard to come by.
