Breast feeding is best food for baby.
It is preferable to bf until 6mths or better 1yr old.

In choosing baby food,
1. What age ...
0-12mths = infant formula
>1yr = growing up milk

2. Notice the flavour - preferably no flavouring like Vanilla.
If you start with vanilla or flavouring, they will forever be limited in choice.
eg. refuse to eat non-flavour milk which maybe required in case of CMPA

CMPA = cow's milk protein allergy.
Consult your doctor if it occurs.
If got choice other than Soya, choose the other.

You dont want them to grow up to be choosy eaters.

3. Choose a brand that is easilty available.
Shops do biz. They dont stock those non-popular brands
so if your baby likes that brand, but no stock... susah

4. DHA is not the only ingredient.
But if you insist, I hear Dumex Mamil Gold has the highest DHA.
Natural source of DHA = fish oil so the powder maybe different.

It may not taste appetising but thats what you ask for. DHA

5. Price = can you afford it in the long run?

6. Follow the instructions in making milk like wash your hands first.
Do not change the mixing ratio.
You can feed in smaller meals.
But dont think add more water so less heaty... nope doesnt work that way.

There are ways to intro milk to baby or changing formula like
1 in 5 meals = new formula. Then gradually move to 2 in 5 ... etc.

7. Taste it yurself first.
If it burns you then not suitable for baby.

Dont premake batchs. Hi nutrition food easy for bacterial growth.

8. For just in case - you buy small tin. Notice the expiry date.

9. Consult a paediatrician... dont simply take advise from your PC screen or blogs.

Breast fed baby usually has less problems with better immune system and digestion.
I understand the constraints for parents but change your lifestyle for baby sake.

What is the best food you recommend.. for you
There is no 1 formula best for all babies.

As one of the members suggested,
you can try samples from paediatricians
I hope the guide will help you find the right formula.
