I opt for leather seats and Maintenance package.
They offer front bumper from FL version, at around 5.5K extra..
Probably would be the first Fluence on the road in my neighborhood. haha

I book mine (Pre-FL) on Sunday right after the test drive at JB branch.
I opt for leather seats and Maintenance package. They offer front bumper from FL version, at around 5.5K extra.. Probably would be the first Fluence on the road in my neighborhood. haha |

QUOTE(twtang @ Aug 23 2016, 12:35 PM) Yes, you're right, TC Euro planned to sell 80 units in two months, which 40 units each month, but one the first week of the promotion, the 40 units fully booked, they have no choice but to release the next month 40 units for booking. This is what my SA and the Renault Showroom manager told. |

QUOTE(kadajawi @ Aug 23 2016, 07:24 PM) But that way you can get the facelift looks, which is so much better... Ya, i agree it looks much better, but think about it, with 5.5K I can get a good car coating and tinting service. I wonder how TC will proceed. Will they just lower the price to get more cars on the road (which would be a VERY good thing for them... they need to show presence, and the Fluence is a reliable and trouble free car which can build up a good reputation for Renault/TC!), or did they just want to clear stocks and will revert to the old price again (that doesn't sell)? |

QUOTE(MBC270cdi @ Aug 24 2016, 09:12 PM) I need sifu feedback on the comparison below: Pre-Facelift is similar to Expression.Pre-Facelift vs Expression: 1) Grill different 2) ? 3) ? Thank you in advance. But based on the brochure from the Renault Website, the Interior is slightly different from these two variants Dynamique and Expression. As I known the Pre-Facelift interior would be exactly the same as Dynamique, but not sure about Expression though. Is just some garnish different. The sport RIM is slightly different as well. Expression and Dynamique carry the same design of rim, but the Dynamique came with dual tone RIM. which looks better. Other than that, all equipments looks pretty standard. |

QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Aug 24 2016, 09:15 PM) That's what I heard. But need to confirm. What you guys think, worth it to get the newer model expression with 95k price tag vs 79888 for old version. Is it only the front facet is different, internally the same? I rejected the 79888 earlier because don't want display unit. The SA at my branch area, told me that it is actually not a display unit, they put it that way to let it less obvious to the previous customer who purchased at higher price.put it another way, is a new car~ |

QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Aug 25 2016, 09:39 AM) Same thing they told me, but not buying that when I seen one of the cars. Saw scratches everywhere on the door handle . Instead, they are offering me new expression at price around 95+ . Doubted whether is a good take, with that 15k price diff. so much scratches? do you check the mileage? could it be test drive unit?Do I get less compared to prefacelift model? But the front gril definitely looks much better on the post fl 95+ comes with Free 5 years maintenance and parts right? is it OTR price? The reason Fluence give me attention is due to its current 80K price campaign (B segment price), but with 95K+, car is close to 100k. if you able to fork out more, you will have more choices in the current market. But the choice is depend on you, 95+K for a C segment car still considerable, see whether you really like the car or not. and ya, the FL grill actually looks more "modern". QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Aug 25 2016, 10:45 AM) Yes, with 5 years free services and parts. Wondering if the expression looks the same interior as the dynamique, except the leather seat. Never actually seen one expression before, show room only had dynamique. Try my luck to bargain for anything below 90k for expression. Finger crossed Looking at the brochure from Renault website, it looks slightly different between dynamique and expression |

QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Aug 27 2016, 06:26 PM) They say will tell me on Monday. But not less than 95k, and you can choose with or without leather seat. Somehow they allowed you to mix and match the car to suit your needs. That is kinda weird. Some more they claimed that expression are sold out , but I thought these are ckd, they can just build more right? they dun have enough lead time to do so. the reason they doing all this promotion is to clear stock anyway. so I don't think so they will build more fluence but to get ready for new Megance |
