Did you get the top end model at rm118k? Any special rebates from the usual one?? Thinking of trading in my 5 year old car for this. No hassle for 5 years.

Why Dynamique is more expensive & The interior is the same. it just the engine different?

Engine is the same. But the Dynamique gets leather seats, DRL, LED rear lights, different alloy rims (painted in two colors). The Expression also has to do without 5 years free maintenance. Otherwise they should be identical. I suppose the free maintenance lowers the price of the Dynamique quite a bit, so you pay a couple of k extra for the leather seats.

That's BS. My Renault isn't particularly unreliable, and the two we had before it weren't either. Parts are cheap. The SC is way more competent and better, not to mention not overcharging snd fair compared to other SC.

Also, if you say the Fluence is unreliable you say Nissan is unreliable, and that Nissan SC are rare and Nissan parts are overpriced.

Renault And Tan Chong Motors Signs Agreement To Build Fluence Locally Date:23-May-14
Gilles Normand, Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Region for the Renault group, and Kuan Kim Luen, Director and CEO of TC Euro Cars Sdn Bhd, today signed an agreement to build Fluence in Malaysia.

This agreement will enable Renault to build its presence and renown not only in Malaysia but also across the whole of South-East Asia, a region with real opportunities for growth. Malaysia is the third biggest regional economy after Thailand and Indonesia, with growth running at over
5% on average over the past thirty years and living standards that are among the highest in South-East Asia. In 2013, the automotive market expanded by more than 5%, for sales of 645,000 vehicles.

To support this growth, Renault will increase the size of its network. The aim is to have 25 dealers by 2016. Renault started building its renown in Malaysia with sports models such as Mégane RS, sold here since 2010, and Clio RS, unveiled at the Malaysia Grand Prix. Koleos is also available.

The launch of Fluence is the first stage in Renault’s drive to step up the pace of growth in Malaysia. Recognized for its strength and reliability Fluence is the Renault group vehicle used to win international markets, particularly in countries where three-box sedans are popular. Other
launches are planned in the future for vehicles meeting the core requirements of the local market.

“We are delighted to be strengthening our partnership with Tan Chong Motors, partner to Nissan, with which Renault has been working for over ten years. This agreement marks the start of a new stage in the development of Renault in Malaysia where our ambition is to establish Renault as the second biggest European manufacturer by 2018,” said Gilles Normand.

“With the Malaysian automotive market now opening its doors more widely to foreign vehicle manufacturers, and after our work with Nissan, we are very pleased to have this agreement with a leading European brand such as Renault,” said Dato Tan Heng Chew.

Bro, what went wrong with the pricing of the Clio? Just curious. And do you guys have any plans of introducing the next Megane? Drove the current (outgoing) model recently and it was quite nice. And really frugal, the 1.2 liter engine, when you drive it slowly enough (in Malaysian traffic no problem).

Btw., did sales pick up since the facelift?

Looking from point of value, I'm hooked. Car drive is nice. Hope to get one soon. Taking the pre face model because of the discount.

Pre facelift always a good choice if the out look of the car is not important for you . And the price is attractive after the Raya promotion discount .
