QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 11 2014, 07:56 PM) Why you need to bother about this? Different user had different needs on their phones. iPhone is not the best smartphone ( unlike what those Apple P Schiller says) in the world nor is there any best Android phone give you one like Both platform has its own pros and cons Important is if you feel iPhone meet your needs better , stay with it. Some will find Android better suited for them ( I am a very good example) and I have used all the iphone since first model till iP5. I just "hate" it when Apple fans deem themselves to be smarter because they chose iPhone - if they think so, just let them be. Important is I don't feel dumb as I have given Apple their chances too with me With the bigger iP6, Apple now wants to pull back those lot of Android fans that are happy with bigger size phones and I believe this strategy of them might work ; how successful it will be only time will tell Either way personally I couldn't be bother whether Apple or Google will be the winner in this game. Most important I can find a phone that meet my needs and it could be the coming ip6+ ?? I have given up on Blackberry and Windows Phone and basically only left iPhone or Androids. In high probability I will be using both of them - best of both worlds. |

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Sep 30 2014, 07:06 PM) Check Privacy>Location Services..make sure no apps is using location services all the time. lol thaanks for reminding me that ! XDI did notice location service always on for some apps so I turn it off and did not experience any battery drain. I think this build is very solid as I have not experience any problems at all i think shud be system services > wifi networking drain my batt This post has been edited by lazybump_nonsense: Sep 30 2014, 09:00 PM |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Oct 21 2014, 11:11 AM) Is the Toggle button so important? Maybe yes last time with the Iphone 4 as we toggle to 2g to save on battery usage. But nowadays, after so long with Maxis LTE, I will even hesitate to surf on 3G networks because its so slow. important for someone that always go to low coverage area...because when you keep your LTE/3G on... your phone will always searching for 3G/LTE signal while that area only have 2G available...this searching process eat up battery ... toggle 2G to tell your phone stop searching for LTE/3G |

QUOTE(lamjunrong @ Nov 20 2014, 03:50 PM) Im alright here with ip5, is just that the battery hogging is still quite a problem to me, compared to ios 7. happened to me, once today But just dunno why after the ios 8.1.1 update, the setting keep asking me to re-enter password for icloud verification. After a few re-enter password is okay edy but didn't happen before |
