IOS 8 is not a major redesign of the os. But have been updating both apple hardwears and softwares religiously. Damn apple products.

Feeling the excitement of my IPad Air and IPhone 5S Ios 8 update now. 50% to completion.

That is why you need to buy a bigger space phone to avoid all this issue. Mine is 32 and I still think its not enough for me haha

Better buy Iphone 6 with 64GB

I have two complains. tongue.gif

Sometimes the notification banner can't be dismissed.
Changing between default keyboard to third party keyboard is quite slow.

Can you please explain more in the banner?
Hahah why at the first place you need a third party keyboard while Apple furnished you with their beautiful keyboard? haha

Will this 8.0 update burden my iPad 2?
Is it worth the update from 7.1.2, coz I feel this version is lagging in the App Store.
Please advise.

On the banner, usually you can dismiss it by swipe it up. I can't do that at times. Not sure why. The behaviour is inconsistent.

On the keyboard, I don't really used the third party keyboard. Just want to 'test drive' this new feature. tongue.gif

Gonna test other new features tomorrow. thumbup.gif

Setup as new phone means it will wipe out everything in the phone and reset to factory setting, in other meaning is a new phone exactly the first day you buy.

Restore from iTunes means put back the backup data into your phone after the installation.

Yes, you can. Backup the data, download and install ios 8, set up as a new phone and later you can restore it back the back up or you can choose not to as well (use it as like a new phone).
