The battery is also new. It is called BST-33 and is a 3.6V 950mAh battery. Oddly enough: M600i also use the BST-33 battery, but this (maybe older) model is a 900mAh battery. I have not scientifically measured the battery capacity, but I the phone have been tested for weeks, and I do not think it is any worse or better than the other Sony Ericsson models. It last for 4-5 days with normal (not much video call) usage.

actually... how do u guys hold then phone when u wanna open the back cover?

i tried to press as hard as possible n push ... n even turned the phone n pulled the cover... but cannot open!!!!!!!!!!!

few times my fingers were pressing the keypad too hard trying to oen the cover so i sked i might rosakkan the keypad

i personally using midland with 950 .. .. so .. cant say that those with 900 are ..erm .. not appropriate..

for the fading words thing .. you better go check your batt..
its very easy to open oni leh .. hold your phone and open with your thumb .. just grip it ..and then push with your thumb..

RM1900 Midland, with 1GB M2 card.

For the M2 card, you can actually check whether is it genuine with the pin code and website.

hi guys, just got my K800i last friday night.
RM1550 AP, HK planet3 version. 950mAH batt.
Still not yet pay to my fren.

Pros:
1. Great cybershot camera.
2. Reasonable price with such amount of great functions.
3. Bigger screen and clear display.
4. Compact but still comfortable keys design for me (big fat fingers).

Cons:
1. No memory cards included.
2. Hard to open the batt cover.
3. A little bit too bulky and heavy to put in front pocket.
4. No original casing.
5. Where is the speaker phone??!!!

Anyone wanna swap his/her K800i (COMSAT AP set) with my K800i (Which not support chinese input) ???

It may sounds funny... but i need to have chinese input in my K800i....
For those who have the chinese input and you dun use it at all, can consider to swap with my K800i : )

Here's a review by newmobile for Nokia N93, Nokia N73, LG KG920 and Sony Ericsson K800i. Take it with a pinch of salt

When we sum up a complete conclusion of the complete photo quality then it becomes clear that the Sony Ericsson K800i sticks to the number one position. There is no reason to buy the KG920, due to the fact that it takes to much time to make a photo and there is no extra quality in relation to the amount of available pixels. The N73 and N93 are nice devices with a reasonable quality. The N93 is too fat and too large, but has 3x optical zoom.

.....The N93 and N73 do not have a xenon flash. The KG920 has all you need, but the quality within the settings is not the same as the K800i. Options like BestPic, the possibility to shoot panorama photos or frame photos are strong points in the Sony Ericsson device.

....The winner on the flash is the K800i. With a distance of at least several meters the K800i makes the best pictures with enhanced flash. The xenon flash in the KG920 is not as good as the K800i but reaches a distance of one meter. The N93 and N73 have a simple LED light.

Are they no weak points in the K800i? Yes, there are! The video camera is really weak and is not the quality you would expect in such a device. The other three make better video and N93 is the best video camera device in the market currently. However the device does not offer the quality as suggested in the slogan DVD quality video. Next to that the size of the device is something that should be considered.

this phone just damn too good .it 3.0 MP and AF summore wif xenon flash make it totally outstanding!
