anyone root their my set here?is the root method on 1st pages work?

I'm using stock + stable rom.
i create a new folder downloaded_rom, and copy and paste the dev rom inside.
go to updater but i cannot find the option "select installation file"
why ya?

I think the "select installation file " not available in stable rom. U need to rename the ROM to update.zip and place in root of the phone, then select "select update package"

few weeks didn't come in, version 7 liau

guys, any of you having this issue?
my mi3 doesn't seem to register long press.
for example, if i press and hold an icon, it should give me the open to move it or uninstall (swipe up to the dust bin)

now i see the dust bin icon for 1s then poof its gone
it happened 2 days after i started to use it (not even fully used since haven't transferred the data). so i did a factory reset and it was working nicely. now it's back again in less than a week any thoughts? i didn't root the phone. most drastic i've done is change the theme only.

Rename update.zip,the option is not showing
Or i need to boot into recovery mode?

rename to update.zip
put at root

enter recovery mode
wipe cache and user data
apply update.zip

end up with 'install update.zip failed

98% taking forever at wiping cache.

damn my bos just came back from china.. he bought the tdcma version.. i test it with umobile can make call but 3g cant connect... is it because the tdcma version????
