I'm not a sifu on feng shui, but my personally experience is not to have your sleeping room window facing the West, as the heat from the sun will makes your room feel like you are living in a hell.

My windows are tinted with window curtain but it doesn't make any difference. I even installed blind outside my window. But the heat is still there, even if I turned on my air con for the whole day...
