I just got back from BKK, was hot! no joke, much hotter than Malaysia. But BKK never fail to disappoint, great place to visit, food is good and people are always friendly.

Good that you are going soon, I can't wait to go there again. That's how much I like BKK city.
Things to buy is quite subjective, but when I'm there I always get Calpis, Betagen, Singha, Formula 2 massage oil, banana cake as attached in the picture below.

No problem with cargo pants or shorts. As long not those type of running shorts. Worst case you can use the cloth given to ladies to cover up their legs..haha

can recommend hotel which can stay 4 persons per room?
or any boutique hotel / budget hotel something like Malaysia open in shop lot clean type.

nearby/walking distance to chatuchak market and mall.
*
If your mall is referring to Platinum mall and malls around Siam, then it is in a different district from Chatuchak market

Guys... from Don Mueng Airport to Bangkok town, Pratunam area by taxi... how much will it averagely cost ? Worry kena 'chop' though... The taxi there are unlike the taxi in malaysia whereby most taxi holds a 'parang' on customer's neck... hmm...

Would wanna know the 'pricing' first on hand... hehe...  blush.gif
*
With meter should be around 200-300 baht depending on traffic. Once you exit immigration walk to your left, don't buy the tickets from the limousine counter

Pratunam area (hotel booked this area)
Mall area

I like Somboon seafood especially their chili crab. Take the mrt to huay kwang and the restaurant is right at the exit. I think they even have a new beach at Siam
